I'll let you know if I get it done, I need to go to the DMV soon anyway so I might have it ready.... we'll see.

Details? I pulled my turbos out yesterday so if I hurry I may still make the cruise with my FD Going single is still an option at this point too but that'd turn it into a fall/winter project.

Wrong thread...

Here is the post from the Cruise thread for the starting point:

Here's the map of the shopping center:
This is the official starting/meetup location for the Cruise. Some Md guys are meeting on 95 prior to the cruise to drive together, but they will be meeting at IHOP just the same as everyone else.

If you really need a number, PM me yours and I'll send a txt back to you. It shouldn't matter though because you are going to be early right?

Again to all: We will be leaving the parking lot at 10:00AM do not show up at this time. Show up at the very least at 9:45. If you show up late and we are gone, start driving the route and you should catch up to us at one of the stop/regroup points.

I have two sets. One has a blown primary, the other most likely has a blown secondary. You could combine to make one good set if you want.

Anybody feeling frisky to help get a brake rotor disk off? I have a rear disk that just won't budge. PB blaster 3lb dead blow, nothing. All the other ones came off after a few hits. This one is corroded like crazy.

Tried that and it still wouldn't come out. One of my neighbors had a metal mallet. Good five minutes of beating the crap out of it it finally broke loose.

Still needs wheel bearings and a passenger seat... I will be on it soon though, been busy playing with other vehicles lately.

When do you think the event will fill up by?

There are already 28 people signed up for the novice class, so I imagine fairly soon

wheel bearings and a passenger seat is easy... stop organizing all these social events and do it

I have a lot more work than that to do to my rx7 before then haha.

You don't need a cage/bar unless you're running tandems. If you're running tandems they'll pass anything with door bars that looks solid, and you have to have a fire suit.

On a side note, my car still has a massive front cover oil leak and two flat tires. My basement is also nearly done.
Anyone have a garage I can use for my turbo build this winter? A lot of work is involved.

I'm building mine for drifting. I've just been collecting parts for now. It'll be 400whp with 9.7:1 rotors. It's going to take me a while.

Awesome, that thing should shred unholy amounts of rubber. What are you doing in terms of suspension? Ive just got coilovers for now. I kinda limited myself even more by having a manual rack. Initiating is a lil taxing, but i guess ill get better at shifting the whole weight of the car. But i do have mounds of feel.

Some day I will. I'll have two sets of LCA's and spindles. One will be stock, the other will be extended LCA's to move the ball joint out and modified spindles to move the tie rods back. I'll also have a super angle kit on the rack with appropriate tie rod ends. It seem like I'm never going to have a time or place to get started.

Power and tuning will be first, suspension will be second. I might be picking ups 2-way LSD in a week or so as well.
