Who is running a REW?

What all will I need to install one in a S5 n/a? I plan on running a Garret GT35 and a standalone ecu. My main concern I guess is the drivetrain...will I need the 3rd gen tranny? I figured I would need the turbo II rear end...

Any input?

Use a TII tranny and save yourself the headaches.

you will need the full t2 drivetrain swapped into your car to handle the power, the five lug four piston brake swap as well to stop the beast, other then that its should bolt right up to the tranny..good luck

It's a project, so it does not really matter. Before all of this everything will be pulled so the car can be re-painted in detail (engine bay, even the interior metal).

So am I wrong in assuming that you're looking at spending upwards of $15,000? Paint alone (for a decent job) will probably run you $5,000....

Now, THAT's a question!

I guess it can be done, but the LIM (either one) won't bolt in...

Anybody?
