Fd engine swap into Fc 89 .

hello ,
iam new on this forrum and this is my first thread .

i want to swap an fd 13brew engine into my turbo2 fc3s .
the swapping is not a big problem for me , but iam worried about my powersteering and my a/c .

could you guys tell me , if i swap the fd engine , and i reconnect & redesign the powersteering oillines that i still can use my power steering and the same for my airconditioning ?

Or if the fd3s A/C pump and P/s pump , doest work , what do i have to do to get them working on my fc3s .

thx kevin

I usually don't like to comment on these threads but really why WHY!

I personally think you should just upgrade the turbo and do a vmount intercooler setup

and rebuild your engine or buy a remain

This will prolly all be cheaper than doing the 13brew swap in your fc. Any you will be able to keep ac and ps.

Keeping the 13BT will be cheaper and much easier and still make great power. What kind of power are you looking for and what kind of budget are you considering?

here is the answer to your FD motor question. it took me all of about 2 minutes in the F&Q.. so here it is written word for word.....

Will a 3rd Gen RX-7 (FD) motor (13B-REW) fit in my 2nd gen RX-7?
The simple answer is No! The motor mounts are in different locations as well as other issues; however if you have enough time and money it can be done. It is generally cheaper and easier however to put in a 20B (typically around $10,000 installed) than it is an 13B-REW from a FD. Here is a basic write up: http://fc3spro.com/TECH/SWAP/FD3S/rew.html

next time try using some of the vast resources that is around her before makeing a post that everyone has seen 10 billion times....

I'm sorry but your concerns with this swap should not be with AC and PS. You've got more important concerns to take into consideration.
