You will not be able to run 40PSI on this compressor. Just a heads up.

3.04 P/r, 30psi, 74.8lbs/min. You will be border line after that it will fall off. You had to misunderstand something. The only turbo we sell here I would recommend 40psi on would be the same one ErnieT runs. He can push 40psi and be 70% efficient, not too bad. Others we have sold aren't even mentionable as they would make his look small. I would say safely 30psi on a ported FD block is all your gonna get. That is more than enough for 99% of all you will ever need

I apologize if this has already been asked, but how much for the turbo alone, I am thinking about adding it to my RB26.

It may be the "minority" BUT it's possible. It's all about making sure you have the proper required subsystems(fuel, ignition) and proper tuning. I'm at about 30k+miles now still on the same engine, it's all in the tuning, there are a few people on this board that know my car, and how much boost I've run on pump gas and can vouch for this. Unfortunately not all of us in the rotary community have access to a really good tuner, shop, and/or rotary consultant.

You post all of that and then don't tell us about your setup ?

Here's a dyno sheet on pump gas(Not max boost on pump gas, hehe) from a while back, my mods are listed in my sig. I'll also quote what I posted with this dyno chart at the time on 12/25/05, here it is from a previous thread, if you want more info on this it's on this thread: https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo-rx-7s-23/single-turbo-2rotor-dyno-sheets-pump-92-94-octane-492050/, here's the chart with the quote:

I'll post a preliminary 450RWHP dyno pass that I made last week on Mobil 93 octane pump gas, and stock Mazda 9 platinum plugs all around. My goal is to see how far I can take the car under the gasoline and sparkplug conditions described. For this dyno pass I richened up the fuel on the secondary injector lag time on the PFC by .06 more than how it is set when normally tuned. My reasons for doing so were because I wanted to be safe, it ended up being a little too safe and causing the car to have too much fuel on top, and loosing power(henceforth the sloppy graph on the top of the powerband). It seems that I probably lost about 20-25 peakHP or so because of this on this pass. My timing was pretty conservative and could be bumped up a degree or two, and the boost could be raised as well. The sparkplugs that were on this run have been in my car for about a year or so, put a lot of mileage on the car and I'm still using them, I'm pretty impressed by them for now(Go Mazda and NGK!), even though I will probably be changing them the next time I go tuning just to keep things fresh. This was on a Dynojet, and the horsepower rating shown is true, it's in SAE correction(I don't use anything else because I've seen some dyno graphs posted on this forum before that were not in SAE correction, and therefore misleading, SAE is the way that the Society of Automotive Engineers measure HP, and what the industry consider to be the standard. I could've posted a standard correction factor and shown bigger HP #'s, but that's not realistic and I'd by lying to myself as well as everyone else). Also I don't use any smoothing on the graphs, I do this because the graph will show every little abnormality and that helps when fine tuning(That's why just by looking at this graph you can tell the car was too rich up top). I was also having problems with the ignition signal pickup to the dyno on this pass and therefore couldn't get an rpm signal, therefore not being able to get a torque reading, sorry about that. I will return to the dyno after me and JD can meet up sometime soon and do some more tweaking with the tune, please continue to post on this thread, it's going good so far, thanks again.

^Very impressive. I didn't read through the linked thread so I'm just wondering if you do your own tuning?

Read my sig, I don't do my own tuning, I'm smart enough to know I'm not that dumb to attempt it myself, lol. Small changes yes, full out tuning, hell no, not that experienced yet, I let JD take care of that.

^ thank you. I have more pulleys to put on and may anodize the strut bar in blue. There is an intercooler, it's just tucked in to the bumper. The radiator is angled similar to stock. WHen everything else is done, I still have the A/C to put back in. I love my A/C!

yea i figured you had a front mount, lol im not that dense, its just amazing how much space a front mount frees up, not sure i like all that space there tho, kinda makes it look to plain, but makes it easy for removing pullys and **** thats for sure
