I wasn't implying you wouldn't put it together correctly just that sometimes people do things differently use different gaskets, clock the turbo position differently etc. When I install those I use the oil drain to set position of the turbo, then tighten the CHRA. The CHRA can be off centre up to 15 degrees.
where is everybody
Are you guys at SEMA , i finished paying for my turbo kit on oct 24, now i cant get a hold of anyone, im sure its stuck at customs but anyway can someone please contact me. I have been leaving messages for 2 weeks. thx

Hopefully Sean or anyone else wont mind me posting in here.
I recently installed the 500r SP kit on a customers car. Long runner manifold with the wastegate plumbed back into the downpipe. I had meant to post in here after the initial install but am just now getting around to it.
First off, the kits are top notch, one of the nicest all around kits I have come across and I have seen a few in my time
(about every damn one). My customer also ordered the fuel kit from A-Spec(custom rails, 1680s, lines, fittings, regulator, etc).
Install was a breeze, coolant feed and return lines fit perfectly, oil feed and drain lines fit perfectly also. I did have a slight fitment issue with the wastegate hitting the subframe(actually the side nipple on the wastegate hitting the subframe) which would not have been an issue if my customer had not opted to have the wastegate routed back to the downpipe. Since he opted to go this route I could not rotate the wastegate but the problem was resolved with just a little bit of effort. The cermet coating looked great and still does after close to 2k+ miles and a track day and full day at the drag strip. Also had an issue with the rear bracket for the fuel rail hitting hte block off plate causing a weird angle for the fuel injectors to mount into the LIM which did eventually cause a small leak. Still, no big deal and I was still really pleased with the ease of installing this kit.
Now the info you guys want, the dyno results. Car was tuned by Ray Wilson of PFS who I am sure most of you know at this point. My customer opted to stop at 15lbs of boost and not push it any further. With a standard RotaryResurrection.com streetport the car made 426rwhp at 15lbs of boost on 93 octane. Ray said the car was making 15rwhp for each additional 1 psi of boost. So with either a little race gas or meth injection the car should make right at 500rwhp at 20psi. In 4th gear the car is hitting 15psi at 4200rpms.
Really nice quality kit and I was really pleased with the overall fitment.
I will let the owner of the car come in and comment on his opinion of the kit and his cars performance.
Here are some pics of the car and the kit and some pics of the engine bay when it had temporary intercooler piping.

I have attached the DynoJet graphs from my tuning session with Ray Wilson at PFSupercars, and a recent 4th Gear run showing it hitting 15lbs at around 4200RPM.
Dyno was @ 71.35 F, 30.07 in-Hg, Humidity: 13 %
Many thanks to A-Spec (for the kit), David / djseven (for the install), and Ray / PFS (for the tuning)!!!
my kit
I ordered my kit in June, they didnt finish it until recently, although i wasn't putting any pressure on them. They just didnt ask for final payment until October, so that is where I am at, and yes certain things do get stuck at customs, my power fc was there for over a week due to an improper label, but thanks for your input. Its weird normally Ryan gets back to me the next day, oh well, hurry up and wait.

HA thats funny my kit was ordered June 6 and finished at the same time. Good to hear it wasn'e just me. I am waiting also, but if reports are correct time wont matter, this kit will rock!

I am confused... I thought you were having issues with it not hitting full boost till 5k+???

Interesting......with my 500R on the street/highway I see 15 psi by 3500-3600ish rpms in 4th gear if I punch it at 3000. The outside temps play a minor role in it. Seems like the 4 inch full exhaust helps
I think I am running the same setup as Rich (A-spec 4 inch). As far as loud goes, yeah.. its a tad loud but I have heard much louder even on 3 inch set ups. I am dumping gate now but going to reroute back in.
I also see 15psi by about 3600rpm when I stab it at 3000rpm in 4th. What's also great is that by 4200rpm it pushes 275ft/lbs of torque which steadily climbs to 330ft/lbs until about 6500rpm before tapering....nice flat torque curve.
I'm running a resonated midpipe and RB duals. I'm planning on throwing on a 100cpsi metal cat and re-tuning...maybe I can bump the torque a bit earlier in the rpm range like Atihun...

There is a lot to read in this thread and no recent news so I'm not too sure... there is a 500r-SP and 500r-HP now? Can you post the specs and pricing w/ addons (ie coating, antisurge, long/short runners, ect) for both kits? ..or if I've read past it point me in the right direction.
