None that I'm aware off. I was working on it a few years ago and just decided to make the kit work instead.

I'm so dying to get one, but I can't afford it right now . I have to get a full roll cage and new bucket seats soon, along with a mandatory driving suit.

At this time I would say yes. I have a right hand drive FD here just haven't had time to get it in to work on it.

Guys I'm still backed up on meeting kit demands. That may be awhile. I am surprised at the amount of people who are calling or emailing here just about everyday. Until that slows a bit. I cannot offer the turbo only.

Sean,

forgive me for asking because I'm sure this was mentioned in the thread, but is this simply a GT35RS/T4? Any other differences?

thanks!

It is different, that is why I don't use the RS term anymore. It was confusing people.

Not sure what your looking for, it uses parts from three different Garrett turbo's. There is no secret recipe I just need to keep a handle on things.

Hey Sean, I live in the Chicago land area and I'm really interested in this kit. I was wondering if you could give me some time frame on the wait? Also, I was thinking about driving down to your shop, maybe some time next week to speak with you or someone else at A-spec regarding this turbo, installation, and tuning. Let me know. Thanks

Hey Sean, I came down to the shop last week and spoke to whom I believe was Steve. I basically got an estimate for the work and ended up buying an HKS exhaust off you guys.

Now, I told Steve that I would be coming in toward the end of July, but I'm thinking about changing my plans a little and bringing it in much sooner. I'd like to come in this week and put down a deposit for the GT 500R turbo, which I was told would require atleast half the cost of the turbo kit (I think $1800.00, correct?). He mentioned it takes about a month to build the turbo kit to specifications. Does that sound right or can it be completed sooner or will it take longer due to some wait for the kit? Also, I'll probably be coming in tomorrow, but I just wanted to know if you could give me some time frame on the installation and tuning for this kit. How long would my car be in your shop if I was to have this turbo kit installed, provide you with a fuel system to install, with an ECU to install/tune, and fabricate some piping for my front mount? Please let me know either in this thread or via PM.

Thanks,

Riz

is 450rwhp doable on a stock TII engine? Pump gas of course.

I'm looking to do a TII swap in my '86 GXL and was looking at picking up this kit. I didn't want to have to rebuild the rotary but will if it will get me 450rwhp easily. I just want to start at 450 and then move up to 500-550rwhp. Let me know. Thanks!
