my turbo seems to sit a lot further up. still working on the install, but we set it on the manifold and i won't even have room for a cone filter. hmmm, can you take a shot of the engine bay from the side of the car? i would like to see how far up the turbo sits. thank you.

That (pwwatkins) looks like the old version of the 35/40 to me? If you look at the pic, it looks alot further forward then where the air pump would be.

Mine's like that too. Sits very far up and infact the filter it nudging the fans just a lil bit. Fits fine though, just a little tight. I'm ALMOST done with mine, any day now, even possibly tomorrow . I'll post pics soon.

I am tuning mine to 15 psi. The filter that came with mine wasn't going to fit, so chris got a shorter one from summit.

The kit has made 448 at 15 psi on a car with a 4" turboback exhaust. at 15 psi, you'll probably want to tune for low 11s AFR.

You should hit up the drag strip, I'd be curious to see your trap speeds.

Hell, while I'm making requests---a sound clip of your 4" turbo back exhaust would be great

If I take it out this weekend I can try to get you a sound clip. However, more than likely I'm tearing into it this weekend to prep for paint and other stuff I'm doing this fall/winter so I may not be able to do either.

lol mines daily driver, it handles the rain alright, so low 11's on the a/f for 15 psi, is that standard or does it change for different turbo settups? im trying to learn about tuning a bit so i dont have to take it to a shop everytime i want to mess with boost settings (when i finally get my boost sylonoids for my pfc) and if one of the guys from aspec can get ahold of me as soon as just the turbos become available thatd be great, im in no hurry

I don't have a whole hell of a lot of time to work on it between school, work and other responsibilities I have, so whenever I get open weekends I have to take advantage of them.
Besides considering it's rained here for like 2 weeks straight I haven't had too many chances to drive it lately.

Interested to see your pics. My turbo definitely sits further up. My turbo actually hits the frame. Hmmm.

It can't possibly hit the frame if installed right, to far up and forward, unless that car has been in some kind of accident. Send me pics please through my email.

I forgot to take my camera the other day. I'll take pictures today and hopefully post them later tonight. My cars done ! Just need to finish a few little things and get it tuned.

Hits the frame? DAMN, dude i thought mine was far up. That doesn't sound right to me either. You could always come over and check my car out for reference purposes. Just shoot me a PM if you want to do so. Later.
