I can recommend the guy that fixed and repainted my car after the dear strike last fall. His name is Jeff Brown, he lives over between Garner and Clayton. He works at a body shop in Raleigh but also does his own work on the side so he is able to work with you on pricing. I've got his business card somewhere in the car and will PM you with his info if you're interested.

Well. I'm going down to Rotorsports this afternoon, I'm going to get them to clean, port & match, and cryo treat my intake and exhaust manifold. I am also going to get them to order my Turbo and wastegate, they are a Turbonetics distributor. Did anyone see that Bryan from Rotorsports is doing some new thing called Rotary Talk in the new RX Tuners, it is in the back of the latest issue.

Sorry about the misspell, I meant to say "deer strike" , not dear strike, incase anyone got the impression that I hit my wife with my car.

Just as an update. I just talked to Rick and he is in for the tuning too. So we have Taylor, Rick, Rob, TO, and myself.

Bryan hasn't answered my email so I am going to try and give him a call to see what's up.

Taylor's ride always looks sweet. Those deep dish wheels really set it off.

Turbos and *******

I'm a simple man, don't ask to much from life.
Some food on my table, a day with no strife.
But there's two things that I can't live without,
And they both cost me money, of that there's no doubt.

Turbos and *******, they go hand in hand.
It's both of the things that make me a man.
The bigger the better some people think.
Let me get my hands on either, I'll be in the pink.

I'd polish them up, make 'em shine just right.
Take 'em out for a spin, play with 'em all night.
Push either too hard, they might glow kinda red.
When that happens you know a cool down is ahead.

Turbo and *******, they go hand in hand.

The size don't matter, that's what they say.
It's how you use 'em when it's time to play.
Treat 'em just right and you'll have lots of fun.
But I can't say a rebuild isn't worth being done.

Turbo and *******, they go hand in hand.
It's both of these things that make me a man.

Rusty said he sent you an email about the tunning. They talked me into getting T-61 turbo, me & my build team (some friends helping me with the FC) & the guys at rotorsports agree above a T-66 would be too much turbo lag for the 1/8 mile tracks I will be running. They say that it is rated at 600hp. They also talked me out of the ball bearing option, my friends said I should get them, I've got till the morning to call and change it, what do you guys think? I'm also saving the maifold work for now, because it would take over two months to get them back.

Just goes to show you that only the most discriminating men and women drive RX7s. Does the talent displayed on this forum not impress and inspire you. We're song writers, poets, fighters of lost causes (the FD owners), and in all of us hope springs eternal, - We're all RX7 owners and drivers! Semper Fidelis, to borrow from the Marines, we're always faithful to our cars, our women, to the rotary brotherhood. You can't find this kind of crap just anywhere. Thanks Greg for the imagery.

It appears that at the next GRR we're gonna have to have a concert and present awards for the best new rotary shop song. And the nominees are . . . .
