If he just sends the $10 in he shouldn't have to pay the court cost...but if for some retarded reason they ARE telling him he has to pay the court cost no matter what...I say go to court...if you win and they drop the charge then the court fee is also dropped for wrongful accusation...basically they can't charge you a thing if they find you not guilty. But like I said...the court fee shouldn't be included unless he actually argues and loses. At least that's how it is in every state I've lived in.

It has been awhile since I had to got thru this crap but I beleive that Dave is right, if you pay the fine and don't require an appearance then there are not court costs. Contact the Wake County DA's office and tell them you want to just pay the fine even though you were in an accident and are in process of trying to get the car fixed.

Of course, I don't venture out to Capital Blvd late at night. I thought Greg went along as your chaperone, what happened to him, he is supposed to prevent stuff like this from happening. Some might say if you can't pay the tickets, stand the heat, stay off of Capital, out of the kitchen. I'd never say that of course.

Look at what you've done. Now we're gonna get a bad rep with the MSCCofNC guys.

Im thinking somewhere in the $3k range. Thats with new kyb agx shocks, racing beat rear steer eliminators, full exhaust, 720cc secondaries, walboro fuel pump, all the extra parts, isuzu npr custom front mount intercooler, HKS super blow off valve, 216whp/200wtq before the fuel mods, new clutch, and some other things ive forgotten.

Oh, and i also have an extra TII tranny, short block, and an XS Power super T70 turbo lying around for sale too.

Rotor Sports Racing 20B FD

Got a PM today from Bryan of RotorSports Racing. They have gotten their 20B FD tuned and turning out 530 rwHP at 11 psi. He asked if they could bring it to Raleigh next month for an RRDI. I told him of course and we'd be thrilled. I invited him over for the 2nd Saturday meet but will have to wait to see what their schedule is like.

Everyone spread the word and lets do a max turnout for this special event once we have a date nailed. Get the guys to comeup from Jacksonville and Fayetteville, get some of those supra owners and jesse's buds to make it and really have a great turnout and a great time. Imagine showing up on Capital in that FD!

I'll let you know more as I hear back from Bryan.

I'm gonna go to the bank tomorrow... I'll see about a loan. I'm ready for some turbo yumminess.

Don't count on me though if you get an offer sooner... but you've got alot done that I'd be doing eventually myself. Save me the work.

...what color was the interior? It was burgandy, wasn't it.

By the way, David's gotten me into the 240sx also... but I'm more into the mid-90s (S14) bodystyle that's similar to the Silvia. I'd probably get one of those as a daily driver while I work on my RX-7. The 240's much more reliable, anyway. ...Just as long as it at LEAST has a SR20DET engine in it... cuz I refuse to drive a 4-banger without turbo!!

Ok... glad david will be there so I will HAVE to behave myself and not hump the car!!

I DO call first dibs if they let people ride in her, though!! *drools big puddle*

Oh... by the way, I dare David to challenge THAT FD to a race!!

Yeah, whatever...FD my ****! I'd kick him in the nuts if we raced...no...LITERALLY! That way he'd have some trouble shifting and I MIGHT have a chance!!! LMAO Yeah right...I'd still get waxed!

But if he wants to run someone I'll get ahold of my SRT buddy John. He has a 550whp capable SRT-4. Then another guy Brian MIGHT have his new setup tuned and his SRT should be pushing 600+whp. They'd prolly still lose though(FWD sucks for traction with high horse ) but they'd be a HELLUVA lot closer than I'd be.

WAIT!!! JOE!!! I'll bring Joe with me instead! I bet HIS SRT could spank that FD!!! *(quietly contemplates to self)Hmm...I wonder if I should mention that Joe has an SRT-10 Viper...NAW!*

But yeah, Hopefully I'll be able to make that meet. I'd LOVE to see that FD! Sounds H-O-T, HAWT!!!

Bryan was, and may still be, an IMSA/SCCA racer (had some trophies on the walls) so I'm thinking if you wanna race him you better be thinking road course because I don't think he is into stop and go traffic. Then again, I wouldn't wanna race a 20B FD on a road course now that I think about it. I might try and see who can backup the fastest....

An SAFC would work, but that may just mask the problem. Do a search on the second gen forums about running rich, there's a checklist of things to do when you're running rich. Just a couple of things off the top of my head.. change the O2 sensor (only matters on highway mileage), change the plugs (maybe you got a bad set?), check the AFM, try putting the stock air box on if you have an air intake...

*changes gears*

Well I've done it. As of tomorrow, I will officially be a Miata owner. Please don't excommunicate me

Get an SAFC but don't mess with it until you get onto a dyno with a wideband, so you can get accurate A/F readings.

Oh and Bryan DEFINATELY does not street race in any way. I asked him what the best kill he's made in that 20B when I saw down there and he's like "I only race it on the track man." He seemed a little put off by that question.

It's a picture of Jesus and Spiderman, and Spidey is saying "DON'T DO DRUGS!" I wish I still had the original picture, it was a set of satirical Spiderman comics that was absolutely tasteless and hilarious.

And I guess I can live with giggling, I'm driving a freakin' Montego Blue Miata. If that doesn't say chick car, I don't know what does. At least the car doesn't have a wimpy exhaust on it, and is reasonably fast.
