Great turnout on Saturday. I was glad to see Beth and Grandpa Doug made it back from their Arizona drive. I had to leave a little early since I had to come to work at midnight but next time the GTU will be road worthy again. It was also great to see Joey back and he actually brought his GSLSE down. Good to know it is road worthy after a lot of work.

Next RRDI is June 10th and we'll have some alternate activities that weekend for everyone. Several people are going up to VIR that weekend for the Gold Cup, Historic Sports Car Races on Saturday and Sunday, http://www.virclub.com/vir/index.php...129&Itemid=155

Those not going up to VIR are invited to join up and travel down to North Hills in North Raleigh to see the movie and maybe grab a 5 guys burger after the movie. We'll have all the details concerning driving to the movie together that Saturday night at the RRDI.

Some of us were talking about going to Mike's next meet I thought, but I'll be home on leave anyway. I'm so sorry to miss all the fun, but I'll see you guys when I get back. Is there a way maybe we can go to Mike's next weekend?

 

If you want to get a weekend drive going then step up. Just annouce it, the place to meet and the time you'd like to leave Fayetteville and ask people to sign up if they want to go. I know Rodney, Ben, and a few others were interested in doing it soon. I think Jason might like to hook up and take trip over there. He seems to break his car pretty often. He is down in Jacksonville with the black TII FC.

Do you hear from Josh anymore? He hasn't been to a Drive In in awhile and doesn't post up here anymore either. What is going on?

Well, I'm not sure where Mike's place is, I was just going to join in the group that was going but I won't be here. If it's closer to Raliegh I wouldn't want people to have to drive down here just to drive back up there, ya know? I have Jason's cell number so I'll give him a call. I wonder if he got his TII back up and running yet. And I haven't heard anything from Josh. I've called, emailed, PMed. Nothing. I hope he's OK. Maybe Betty broke down on him one too many times, haha.

Speedjunkie, Mike lives in Washington NC, it's kind of tricky to find his place. I would like to drive up to his place this Saturday. I live in Smithfield and it is about a 90 minute drive for me. I will let you know if I still plan to go or not by this Friday. Anyone who wants to go just let me know.

Heh, I already sold the camera. That was quick. You know, the two pics I took of your FD are some of the only pics I took on that camera that I am actually keeping permanently, the others are of cats and dogs doing cute and/or stupid things.

I'll try to remember to bring the new 4 megapixel Canon A85 that I replaced it with to take some new pictures of everybody's rides, assuming I can actually make a drive-in again sometime.

 

Joey, it was great to see you and the first Genny. You can come to as many Drive Ins as your rotary and your boss will let you make. We're always glad to see ya.
