Thanks Carl, and Happy Birthday BTW...and uh, FTW.
Congrats Nic, can't wait to see it.
Josh and/or Carl, let me know what's up with the cylinder. I'll probably be heading down to GA next weekend, and I think it's leaking inside so I'm sure they will have something to say about fluid being all over the carpet, haha. Thanks guys.

Oh yeah, Carl, you said you have an R1 right? Either way, if you have a non-bose carpet, can I borrow it to take with me to GA so they can make a mold of that too?
Gary, I'd be interested but I might be driving to GA Saturday.

Josh, Ill probably take the mp off your hands, I can weld in a magnaflow to quiet mine down, its already a cop magnet.
Eric, thats a negative on the clutch master cylinder.
What is happening this weekend?

I don't think Ashraf is going to be that picky. I think on the last one it was just making sure everything was in working order without leaks. We'll probably hear from Ashraf on the MSCCNC forums tonight for the official inspection.
There is one thing that might be a problem. Seems there is a section on the tech checklist that says "Pistons are not allowed in any vehicle originally powered by Doritos."
Really, that's in there.

Hey all, I got some details on the tech inspection for the upcoming autoX for those who are and plan on attending:
Basically:
* Check that wheel bearings are tight
* Check that battery is mounted securely
* No major fluid leaks
* Tires have tread (need to see some wear bars)
* Basic safety equipment (seat belts) in good condition
* Nitrous Oxide bottle REMOVED from vehicle, if present
At our discretion:
* No major vehicle components loose or in disrepair
* Unusual modifications
Hope this helps!

Yeah, I haven't done any calculations, but I think I'm going to have to donate my left kidney.
Autocross stuff....
Take a air pump so you can raise your tire pressure when you get there. Have a gauge handy so you can check it after runs also. I run mine about 40PSI for autocross and track stuff.
You'll need to remove anything that is loose in the car, floor mats, etc... and take out the spare when you get there.
Battery must be secure, tie downs/bungy cords are acceptable.
Lug nuts torqued correctly, belts in good shape, all the standard type stuff....
Bring a cooler, you'll get thirsty and can sit on it...
I also take some standard tools just in case... extra oil also.
At some point... grab a helmet and try sitting in your car. You might have to make adjustments to the way you normally sit. It can make a big difference.
If I think of anything else...

^40 psi, really Greg? I've been running 31.5 for the track days. Not real sure what I should run for the AutoX...I'll have new tires by then and I'll definately have to see what kinda of sidewall flex I'll have. The new tires get installed the 16th so, I guess I'll have a week to play with tire pressure.

Now I have to get the money together to get it fitted/installed and painted.
