Yo Dreyko, I left a message for Mike to come down this weekend! I haven't heard anything as of yet. What did he find out about your car last week. I'm going to have him to check my fuel pump.

I have a list already... I will be looking at a calendar tonight and posting up a few dates. The rest we can decide as a group at the meeting Saturday.

Not to change the subject, just wanted to share. I reenlisted today for another 4 years. Did it on top of a C-130, workhorse of Iraqi Freedom, aircraft 1823 to be exact. Here's some pics.

I started getting nauseus at the thought of what I was about to do (not really, acting in accordance with Dumb and Dumber). One of the pics is staged, the one where my Commander is looking at the camera. And the last pic is after we signed the paperwork.

I think I'm going to try to drive the FB to the meet this Saturday, so I can prove that I actually DO still own a rotary I still have a lot of you guys' cell numbers on my phone in case I pop a tire and need to be rescued, heh.

speedjunkie: I think I can speak for pretty much all of us when I say thank you for continuing to serve our country. However, you should inform your superiors that you are a part of an active RX-7 club, therefore you can't be shipped out anywhere, or your car would get lonely.

Congrats, Eric! If you would have let me know I would have come to the ceremony. I still have 11 months before I have to re-enlist. Looks like you might be heading to Korea once Tech results come out next month...haha!

I've tried to tell them but they won't listen. Something about "service before self" or some such. Nic you know what I'm talking about, haha. Great idea though Joey, haha. I'm hoping Korea is not in my cards whether I make Tech or not. I was thinking I'll probably volunteer for another desert vacation though, I need the money for all the upgrades. And sorry Stina, I'm taking the keys with me, haha. Actually I will have to trust that Barb will start the car for me while I'm gone, without actually taking it out and getting crazy. Maybe I'll just have the engine pulled and getting rebuilt while I'm gone, that should take care of everything. Haha. Thanks though guys and gals, it's my pleasure to serve. Thanks to Nic and all the other fellow soldiers too. And thank all of you fellow rotorheads for helping me with the car all the time and keeping the homefires burning. I love you guys.

And Joey, don't let anyone lie to you, chicks DO dig the khakis

I don't think I'll be making it to the meeting Saturday... this will be the first meet in a LONG time that I will miss... I think it's the first one this year, actually.

David and I have been brain storming for some fun things for the group to do together. I will have the suggested schedule posted by Tuesday.

Just so you can go ahead and plan... there will be an RRDI event the first weekend in July, on Saturday, July 1st. I'm working on having some sort of barbecue. I'll get more information to you about that event on Tuesday, as well.

Sorry I can't make the meeting, but I need to see my Sailor this weekend.

Damn skippy homeboy! I might be putting on my coilovers, strut bars and sway bars tomorrow too. I was gonna wait til I got my brake rotors but I'm getting antsy, haha. Those should be here any day though. Oh yeah, tomorrow morning at 0730 I'm getting my compression check done. Wish me luck!

Can't wait to see all of you.
