The skinny tires on Dex's car probably didnt help anything. The FD needs some meat to hold her to the road, and all-season tires are even better; if I remeber right he had neither. Anyhow, I am glad he is OK, it is just a shame to see an FD get totalled like that.

The insurance company is still giving me the run around. I am going to resort to certified letters. I know they are hoping I just go away, but they don't know how crazy rotary owners are.

I got into a race today getting onto the highway with a new eclipse and needless to say he won but I stayed with in my 2 car lengths of him we got up to a little over 100 on the on ramp but i did pretty good for being a 1.3L vs. a V6

Hey guys I'm gonna need some help this weekend with my throttle and cruise control cables. I can't seem to get these things adjusted right. Basically what's happening is that they get loose (cruise control) or get slightly stuck (throttle) when I go wide open throttle. I had it running fine this morning but then after I did a little 3rd gear pull on 40 my cruise stopped working again and my idle was back up to 1400rpm.

I think part of the problem is that I'm having trouble getting the open end of the wrench in there because there's hardly any room, so I can't truly get anything tight. Maybe a flare-nut wrench will help.

Bert, I just found out that I'm working pretty much all night Saturday. Is there anyway that you can come by Staples and just get the money from me there? I hate it, this Saturday is inventory at Staples, so we're probably going to be there till 1 or so in the morning.

Well guys... I have some bad news and some good news.

The bad news is that my beautiful FC is now gone, sold to WannabeFC.

The good news is that you'll probably see the car once in a while at a meet now, as he's much closer to Char Grill than I am. Oh, how I miss those double meat burgers...

Hopefully some day we'll have his FC and my FB at the same place, at the same time, and then, ONLY then will we truly discover which car is faster. I've always wondered.

 

no offense, but let's hope he doesn't wreck that **** too

 

All I am going to say is he had a flawless driving record before the 240 got wrecked, just the first mistake he made cost him.
