There were 4 or 5 of us there. There may have only been RX-8s in the parking area. Some still show, even if they drive another daily.

Trump has killed the Rotary Community in America.

Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?

The guy has got to go.

To jail.

Yes I am. 4 years ago I didn't have a 1st gen! The rotary community is still alive and well. You just have to come out of your cave to see it.

Well done Tommy, joining the 1st gen club was definitely a milestone for an already spectacular OGTA.

And if Trump helped you with the decision, then proper credit is due, it would be the high point of his presidency as well.

However I wasn't referring to our own personal sugar highs the phony Trump economy is dumping on America.

I was referring to the ISIS threat he just unleashed on our country.

How soon we forget.

I'm working on the LE, all new racing suspension and brakes, GSL LSD rear end and a new windshield (walnut got the last one).

Plus a bunch of cosmetics.

I'll be there for sure, when Trump gets impeached.

Over here in Georgia we aren't forced to display the "In God We Trust" license plates.

We should be turning blue pretty soon.

Are you going to put those whopper tires on that itty bitty FB?

Poor tranny.

Poor tranny.

Those ARE tinny tires... there are just 6 of them mounted to my car.

Hey, that plate is better than the "as I live I hope" plate that they offered me. "in god we trust" reminded me of MONEY.

Good day,

I don't currently have a rotary, but want to get one as a project car in the near future. So, in the mean time I want to start to get to know the rotary community in the Atlanta area and learn more about them. I've not done too much as a mechanic and want to rectify that.

I currently live SE of Atlanta but work around the city as an electrician in the film industry.

Pleasure meeting you all.

Ray can you get new windshields? Mine has a number of star cracks and lots of small nicks. I could definitely use a new one.

Hey Jam, welcome to the club.

Plenty of Rotary Knowledge at the OGTA meets, come on down.

And get an FB, they're much better than FCs, FDs and FEs.

More power, handle better and way way prettier.

Greg I picked up a first gen windshield last year over in Norcross for $132.50 from a windshield place.

Windshields R Us or something like that.

Here's a thread on it:

https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generati...s-nla-1114742/

I'll be putting it in this weekend to replace the one the walnut got.

But if money's not an issue here's one on ebay shipped to your front porch:

Thanks for the welcome, Ray.

I would really like to come to the next meeting if I am able to. If I recall correctly, the next is November 5th at 7p? Again at the Buford Taco Mac?

I love both the FB and FD, but I'm a little partial to the FD, probably due to the Fast movies coming at an impressionable age. I'm in my early 30s.

Thanks again!

Welcome, Jam!

Yes, the next meet is Tuesday Nov 5 (first Tuesday) at 7pm at the Taco Mac by Mall of Georgia. We park in the mall parking lot right next to TM since it is easier to park together, Despite Ray's prejudices for the FB's, we allow, and enjoy, all rotary vehicles and rotary enthusiasts even if the don't bring a rotary. The meets nowadays are usually a bunch of RX-8's with a few RX-7's of various generations and the occasional old school ride.

We look forward to meeting you!
Tommy

Bring them with you.

As I recall FDs are fuel injected.

Could be a problem with the Rotary Gods.

Better be on the safe side Jam. Get a Nikki.

Jam welcome.
No slant towards you.
I was just giving a jab to our resident absent-minded professor, or should I say nutty professor. (Ray you got any flubber in the LE?)

Flubber is what they made FD's out of.

Warning Jam, your wife won't like the car bills if you get an FD.

They made all the seals on those things out of flubber.

That's why they leak all the time and can't make it to the OGTA meetings.

Just ask Brett.

And Greg, there is no flubber in the LE.

Just real rubber, increasingly being replaced by high end polyurethane.

Did you get a lead on your windshield?

No slant taken, GKW. And thanks for the welcome. I tend to have a rather sarcastic personality, so even if it had been towards me, I wouldn't have been fine. The wife's dad used to call me the absent-minded professor...

Ray, her opinion on that is what I spend on the car, she gets to spend on shopping...haha.

I'm good with the wife for Tuesday, now just to wait and see if I am going to be kept late at work. I would bring her, but she just had a baby and doesn't want to ride for an hour, and we live in the Covington area and I work in Atlanta primarily.
