suggestion, maybe u should start a build thread. that way the whole forum, not just the few of us locals here, can watch the progress. even those that remember ur SE from DGRR. start by how all this began with a simple compression test and now doing the wrenching urself.

 

you know I thought of that but since this is pretty basic stuff I just tore into it and forgot to take pics. The more I get things out of the way for the radiator egress the more I realize I'm going to do some cosmetics in the nose area to the frame and bracketry. Going to mask and paint all the black I can find in a tasteful way. She is so clean and hardly any noticeable rust, of which is still surface dust, that I'd be stupid not to freshen her up!

 

On that "my own build thread" it's a good idea. But you gotta understand that this is the first time I'm wrenching on my car since... 1975. I feel like a green newbie compared to these OGTA gods of rotary resurrection. I just figure to share what I'm doing here to show the gods I'm willing to give it an honest try. So far I'm having a great time learning my 7 more intimately.
