Hey hey- at work today, there was a ~6 foot cottonmouth beside the garage. My boss got his little grabber thing EXACTLY like yours and attempted to move it (since I was mowing). But it scampered off...
And I cleaned the car a bit the other day... It'll see OGTA soon I can get my full license back as soon as mid-July.
And my nice new slightly worn 'vert seats

Looking good Brett!! That steering wheel kind of looks out of place. Is it attached to anything? Have you ever given your leather seats a good treatment with Lexol? They will look like new and it will help preserve the leather.
Michael we counted up the pets, all here, so it must have been rats - at least two, judging from the lumps.

She's a pretty one Donny, and if she had made it to the last OGTA meeting it would have upped the 12A count by 1.5 12As!
Austin you turn over RX-7s faster than anybody I know. And that's saying alot!
Brett your little vacation will at least give you some time to get the car in top shape.

MIGHT be having a visit next meet by a Winning Blue Metallic RX-8! It belongs to a guy at the 'Stop and Ride' (A pretty nice general automotive shop) in Jefferson. It is, thank God, a six speed unit. Gave him one of the OGTA cards...and explained a little about it. Basically just told him it's a monthly excuse to get out of the house and go meet up with some fellow rotor-heads for drinks and dinner...chit-chat included. So hopefully he'll check this link out and we'll see him!
Crit, have you been able to break the plug wires free from the packs yet? Clearly my wires are worse than I thought because the car runs like *** when I move the wires around at all... This is most likely due to the fact that Grace took an extended vacation in a field and (You can ask Brett!) there was a small family of field mice living under the hood. This is evident by the front strut rubber boots that have been chewed on and the plug wires (also chewed on) and finally...a coolant hose...the battery cables...the battery box...the insulation on the hood's underside...okay, so it's not a short list. They apparently loved the unique taste of Mazda!
See? Even Rats know which cars are good and which are bad. They only eat the best! -- or is it the worst....? -- Never mind.

First off, Ray, that guy's a hack when it comes to being a Shadetree Mechanic. He still can't get the car to idle at all, and it's been months. It's funny, but it pains me to listen to a car that's still so screwed up.
Collin, I've got all your wires pulled off your coils and they're sitting in the back seat of the truck. If you need them soon let me know. FWIW, they came off pretty easily - maybe they were just built Ford tough.

Easy on our Canadian buddy guys, he's just a kid, hasn't even learned to drive a stick shift yet. Now that our cars are actually running again we should be more generous to our buddies who are still fighting it out in the trenches.
He's got a great project going there with his dad, raising that 7 from the dead.
I admire his determination, hard work, originality and movie making skills. The movies remind me of some of my more frustrating days and they still have me in stitches every time I watch them.
I can't wait for Monster 7 III to come out.

Can't tell you Tim, the wife might find out.
Here's the latest from my Canadian buddy:
"all right i will look at that thanks. to me i think its the spark plugs or somthing because when we turn it over its geting the gas when we took out the bottom spark plugs we got it to fire with the bottom spark plugs but when we put it back on no worky. hoping i can fix it soon because i need to put the car back up on car jacks to fix the brake line, tie rod ends, some bushing and out the splash plat on that is fully restored. oh befor that take off the rad to restore the rad holder. but i am hoping to get all that done soon and hoping this week to get my G1 and maybe get my car on the road so i can learn stick in. then i would make a driving video"
Damien
Can't wait to see that video.
Mike I'll check the shed for OPMs but it looks like Crit has you covered.

Ray, i go through cars in general faster than anybody you know most likey hahaha.
I'm actually keeping the car. Selling the springs and shocks off her, but other than that, im about to finish all the little things i've been working on in the engine bay and hopefully next month (if not earlier) she'll at least be back running stronger than ever.
I bought a CRX daily this week so i can save gas. Car #33 or 34... Gonna try and keep it cause it has a pretty cool story (i'll save it for when i drag myself out to a meet).

There is an FB for sale in Gainesville that has 65K Original. It's 'golden' with brown suede looking interior. They want 5K for it, and it's an 82. I snapped a few pics.
Can you name all of them?
