They may cancel the game with the rain. You should come out.

Anybody have a 12a dipstick they can bring? Ray?

I'll be there.

It will be worth the price of admission to see how Ray uses windex and petroleum jelly to spruce himself up for the picture. Or, maybe he was planning to use it on his car. Either way, I'll be there.

Actually the petro jelly and windex was for a little birthday present I had worked out for Donny, hope he somehow manages to escape the GF shackles.

Billy my dip sticks went with the 12A cores to Stu's house. Besides, you guys would probably think I'm pretty weird if I showed up with petroleum jelly, windex AND a dip stick.

It's sunny out now, but I can't remember if this means people are coming or staying home, Billy and Donny have me completely confused.

See ya'll there, come early if you want the PJ and 'dex treatment.

Ray

Collin and I will be there. He's at my house now... I'm gonna bring my model FC and some strut-covers for Billy if he's there, since Crit mentioned he was in need of some.

Zach, just suck it up and plan to come down next month.

Thanks to Crit...and Brett's finger...my KYB AGX struts and shocks are now installed! Seriously, Zach and Brett HAVE to be riding on just the springs themselves. My suspension was far more firm than BOTH of your cars and my rear shocks were B-L-O-W-N-! I recommend the replacement. It's night and day!

The meet was actually really great tonight. I sat in the middle of the table this time, and people actually spoke to me! Hah, that's just a little sad...

Great meet guys. I think this one was the best one I've been to at Jeffreys (even though I've only been to 3). I was glad to get those wheels off of Austin too- Now I'll have a complete set. And that deal on those shocks and springs is killer too. I'll be saving up for that now... And thanks for the cards Ray. I'll put them to use so we can break the 10.5 record . And I was glad to give those shock covers to Billy since I wasn't even using them and got em for free. Alright, enough AND's...

Welcome Brett!

MINUTES FOR THE 1, 2008 OG@TA MEETING

12A Count:

4 FB's = 4.0
2 FC's = 1.0
2 FD's = 0.67
Total = 10.17 12A equivalents

Just short of the 12-08-07 record of 10.5

Nope, I used my computer-like finger tips to direct them straight from the camera into your living room. Pretty cool, huh?

From the archives:

Austin and others have asked about 2nd gens, SEs and 3rds gens, so I looked into the archives and found the following:

SEs are considered experimental RX-7s. Although fitted with the less reliable fuel injected 13Bs, they are considered a 1st gen in spirit. Therefore:

1 SE = 1 1st gen

The fuel injected, turbo'ed, overweight porche-imitation 2nd gens still have a rotary engine, albeit a 13B, so they are also counted towards the Record:

2 2nd gens = 1 1st gen

The degenerate, twin-turbo'ed luxury 3 rd gens also get credit:

3 3rd gens = 1 1st gen

Sounds like a 12A equivalent to me Michael, you have a carb, right? Put that 13B back where it belongs and you'd have 1.5 or even 2 12A equivalents.

We still haven't seen a pre RX-7 rotary show up at one of these things (although Crit has a shell at his house).

Donny final total was 10.17 12A equivalents, the white FD didn't show last night, that photo is from the archives. 1BAD7 showed up though, that's one nice car.

yeah it's carbed, holley 600. as for putting it back into an old school, i'd love to more than u can imagine. but at the rate those things r going up in value, i'll never have another one. still hate wrecking my 808 back in '05. having trouble finding a replacement that i can afford.

Gene, you and Cory's SA idle was by far the smoothest we've ever heard in the Jefferey's lot, nice work. Mike used to have the best one 'till he rebuilt his carb. If you want, I'll bring a can of degreaser to the next meet and show you how to do under that hood.

Michael, what's an 808? We need a photo of that.

What ever happened to Roland anyway?

Did you guys notice a lot of bugs around sundown or did Mike and Collin forget to take a bath:

Mazda 808?

And I think you took that picture when Collin was 'hating' on Austin's old civic .
