It looks like you're missing the primary main air bleed, a hollow brass screw with a bunch of holes in the shaft that holds down the venturi horn. Without that you won't get any gas.
Thanks Ray for your help. I MUST get this thing running well for the OGTA meet! Sorry about the pic....

The primary air bleed was present. I took it out to make sure it was clean at the time of the photo. I can see about getting a video with it on the car. However, I can not get any fuel to go into that primary so it probably will not run. I meant to include that information in the post, but skipped over that "minor" detail...

With that said....could it be anything else?

How about those check *****, there are two of them that need to seat cleanly in their holes with a little brass cylinder floating on top. Those are easy items to lose track of. When you have the carb apart during the rebuild did you blow out all the passages and confirm that there were no obstructions?

This is all guess work, Gene knows the actual answer to your question. Gene?

When it was on the car, the fuel was 1/2 up the view glass. Could I swap a couple parts from another Nikki (looks the same) that is on my car now? Is it worth swapping pieces over until I find what caused the problem?

Will do Gene, check out the "Live at the Mitty" thread, they should be there in twenty thirty minutes.

Dudes, check out my new upgrades. I got them from a ghetto source but I fixed 'em up with a bit of vasoline and they look pretty good, don't you think?

The second gen strut covers suck, but I don't want to offend my friends.

Post the pics and vids here, we'll figure it out later.

Well i had a great time at the Mitty!

My hands down favorite moment was when we went on a ride in the pace car for the first race of the day.

Great pics Alex and Michael, thanks for posting! Nice to see Sir Tim out in front of the pack. Oh wait, that's you in that custom hood set up you're running!

I'm down for the Lakehouse Crit (big thanks to you and Dena!) but with all this partying going on I'm going to have to miss the June OGTA meeting tonight.

I'm still catching up on things that should have been done last weekend and I have a major day coming up tomorrow.

Somebody get the 12A count and post some pics!

The black rubber strut covers are growing on me, I'll give them one more week to see if I stop noticing them every time I open the hood.

Dave, if the black rubber strut covers are the second best mod, what's the first?

Ray, the reason you feel so far behind is your looking at next months calendar. It's still May.

I will be there tonight, but can't stay for the business meeting. I'm still suffering from the cold I had all weekend at the Mitty.

A turbo 13B of course is the first best mod one can make to a FB ( I can almost hear your feathers ruffling)

A "turdo 13B"? Dave, I thought all 13B's were turdos??? What gives?

Hope you had a good ride back, that sure was fun at the Mitty. Chances are if you had gotten me out on the track in that FD of yours I'd be owning it right about now. Painted White, of course.

Mike, you are correct about the month, it's May, not June. I fixed the calendar on my computer.

Love those brown FB's!

Wish I could be there to check it out Chris. Next time!

Here's my old brown GSL, the Turd, since gone to Rotary Heaven:

Well there is always the lake house meet. Maybe I will leave it in it's urban turd form and give you a test ride. Not all 13B's are as great as the REW

I was gonna let that go, Ray, but now you're pissing in MY cornflakes. Remember that FBs were born with 13Bs, as were RX-4s, RX-5s, and REPUs.
