I would be doing this event but funds arent permitting at the moment, Im planning on doing the October AMP(If it happens), November MVP and December Road Atlanta events though hopefully

 

Anyone have pictures or a 12A count from last night? Those of us who could not make it need a little vicarious OGTA action. More importantly, Ray is suffering from rotary withdrawls. He has had good whiff or rotary exhaust in like a week. A couple good OGTA picture might keep him going.

Yeah some pictures and the 12A count would be helpful, while I was at the Mazda dealer yesterday picking up an intake manifold gasket I found myself looking at Miatas.

 

A count is premature, I think. I'm not even sure we can put together a full list of attendees.

I am planning on the December event as well. I want to do the AMP event, but I have heard that they only recently broke ground. I fear not enough time to build a quality track. Fingers crossed though.

This event was a last minute deal for me. Just got the OK from the boss yesterday. As long as she gets to go shop.

Hope to see you there Ray. Should be lots of intresting races and cars about. This is my first NASA event and have always heard they are really fun.

Ray, we had a couple of new people and no one there with a camera to take good pics. We missed you.
Mike there were 19 rotary powered cars at the meeting last night. That is a lot of rotary exhaust that Ray could have sniffed.

 

Good news OGTAs. I think some of the rotary fumes ya'll produced wafted up to Jefferson. I talked to Ray last night and he was hard at work breathing life back into The Silver One. I think those fumes may just have been enough to keep him going.

 

Yes the rotary fumes are still wafting through Jefferson, a full day and a half after the August meeting. Inspired by the aroma, I am putting the finishing touches on my second Nikki rebuild and preparing to install it today, on top of my freshly redone intake manifold. Might even get it started a bit later to contribute to the fog over Jefferson.

 

Ray I hope it works out well for you today.

i went to the varsity meet for the first time. pretty nice. my fave part was when some guy in a 2nd gen got stuck trying to leave. he slid it and got out.
