"Barn fresh": Never heard a POS rust heap called that before If there was much of a base to work with left that would be cool. Maybe Jay Leno will save it and have a pair of NSU's. As it sits , that is a very expensive pile of corrosion.

That's a lot more rare than what jay leno has. That's the ONLY rotary car to be mass produced before mazda bought the rights to the rotary engine. Jay leno has a 68 cosmo, but that's made by nsu in 65. It's not even a mazda and the engine's even more prehistoric than a 10a. I won't be suprised if he does buy it.

He has a NSU as well I have seen a segment on it as well as his Cosmo. The dude with the huge catapiller under his nose had it on his show... Dennis Cage I think?

Price is low because its a rust bucket as Dave pointed out. The best part is
the interior and some other bits. Would be a good parts car for restoring another.

 

Hey a little bondo and that Spider will be ready for the September OGTA meeting. Incredible elegant design in that car, rear mounted single rotor engine with an SU carb, it doesn't get any better than that.

Check out the test drive video, that thing hauls. The backfire a few seconds after the car is turned off is to die for.
