I finally have internet at the house again... That stunk.

I've got the signs almost ready for the BBITS meet. Once I'm through, you'll never be able to tell that they're stolen 'Any Large Pizza $10- Papa John's' signs

Ge great to see you Chris! But a word of warning, being around all those rotaries is infectious, you may have to trade the Miata in for another FB!

Brett, if you get that black car running again do me a favor and don't use it until the August meeting. I'm kind of forgetting what it looked like.

Need a little more info, Crit, perhaps a link. Maybe I am having a senior moment, but I am not following where this comment came from. This does sound intersting though.

Mike, I think that's the meet Tim talks about with the Lotus drivers. They meet up at the Starbucks in Cumming and cruise all around North Georgia.

It's tomorrow, right?

The FC runs! Like a dying truck, but it runs. I drove down the street and back last night at about 11:30 and it's still a little rough. The timing is off and I've probably got a vac leak, so hopefully today I'll sort things out. And hopefully this one lasts more than a few miles

Ok guys I have REALLY cool news. Mazdas official Facebook pages, with over 100,000 members and run by actual corporate MAzda employees had to pick a car to represent the Rx-7. They chose Sexypants II, A.K.A. the white one! So, even though some ******* rear ended her and took her from us, she will be remembered and honored by tons of people online! So thanks to Ray's meticulous caring of the car, combined with the efforts of OGTA members building it, and my photography, it is being honored by Mazda themselves.

Not bad for a stock Saab 96, eh Billy? That was actually part of Colin's post above (http://jalopnik.com/5593657/ten-awes...gines/gallery/) which also has an RX-7 listed as one of the Great Small Engine Cars.

That White Car sure does have a lot of Karma. Where is she now???

Chris do you have a link to the Mazda official Facebook pages?

Check this out!

That was a great buy, and likely from a good seller. Anyone with a complete RX-2 in the drive isn't doing this for the first time. Well bought.

Sure thing Ray.

Billy has the white one. I don't know what he has done with it or what his plans are.

I believe the white one will start offering itself as parts in the near future, it wants to help keep others on the road.

The FC finally runs decent. I had the e-fan hooked up wrong, which explains why it would heat up once I drove the car but would be fine at idle. Plus I got a nice Mazdatrix radiator from Mark that's aluminum and copper, so it should last a good while. All that, plus an interior detail, wash, and a little bit of paint, ended up like this:

Side:

Rear (Yes I know, new tires coming soon):

Under the hood:

I got slideways... right into a ditch about a year ago. I got a little crazy with the tape:

But that's nothing a little spray paint can't solve. See, just another benefit of having a spray-painted car...:

Some new rear tires, swapping on my Hawk pads, and fixing a small vacuum leak and I'll be set I'm so happy to finally have this thing running good.

Well we had a OGTA mini-meet here at my house Saturday. Holly called me on
her way down I77 and dropped in for a spell and some R&R on her way home
from Maryland.

I forgot to take pictures but it was a silver SA and a dark silver RX9 in attendance.

Whats the count for that Ray? BTW, we missed you Ray but it was a last minute thing.

Holly it was great seeing you and your car. Tina and I enjoyed your company.
Hope your ride home Saturday night was uneventful.

Good Grief, another OGTA Sleeper Cell.

I'm still fighting with my Nikki Tim, there was a moment there yesterday afternoon when I stepped back, looked at the car and imagined what it might be like to have an aftermarket carb in there.

Then I came to my senses, I'll get back to work on it this evening (I'm thinking it might be the fuel pump, Nikki's are really not capable of this kind of nastiness).

Brett I'm liking the Racing Tape, definitely spiffs up the old FC, I like the look!

I'll say it before you do, Tim. Could be time for a del horto, Ray.

Actually I was thinking about a nice pair of SU's. You can put SU's on a 12A, right?
