Anyone looking for 13B. This could be a good one in Greenville.

I would consider it, but knowing my luck, it would explode in a couple months. I'd hate to kill yet another Wankel...

And no one has any thoughts on the random bogging during turns? I'm thinking it may be float bowl related, but I couldn't find the link to Crit's massive Carb guide....

Also, Ben, CALL ME FOOL! I need to talk to you, and I lost your number when my phone got reset.

I think they want your first born.

Kevin, your problem is nothing a good Nikki won't fix. Did you keep the one from Kevin's car? Stick it in and drive.

Only thing that is not to intuitive is when it pops up for you to change your avatar. Just click "skip" and you can change it later.

I never got a Nikki as far as I remember. It may be in that parts box, but I think the only carb I have is the Holley....

And seeing as I don't want my first born, the Wankel Gods can have it!

Also, even if I had a Nikki, how would I get it bolted up to the 13B? I don't know of anywhere I could get a manifold for it...

Just fooling with you Quad. And putting in the requisite plugs for Nikki's and 12A's.

Here's a little scientific entertainment for you, this guy is funny:

Quad, go to the RB site and read about the Holley components they have. This may not be related, but RB sells a float bowl mod specifically designed to address fuel starvation during cornering. It's hard for me to believe you could be bumping into this issue driving on the streets, but it may give you a lead.

its just a characteristic of the holley cause it sits on our engines sideways causing the fuel to slosh around during hard cornering. the bowls sit left and right rather than front and back like on a V8. really sux when trying to autocross. center hung floats r supposed to remedy this but i really don't know since i haven't tried it.

Holleys are known to stumble badly on turns. Do like the Mike(s) say and read
the RB pages. You may want to get the kit they have to fix it.

Would MikeS notice this driving on the street, probably not.

Would some youngin' like Quad, more than likely

Shaddap. I don't drive fast ALL the time. I mean, it'll stumble taking a 90 deg left turn going like 5 mph....

I'm not just being a youngin'....

Kevin got that holley from me originally. It is supposed to be a RB holley already.

Ok, I take it back.

Maybe its a float level issue or fuel pressure issue or both.

Quad, maybe you aren't going around the turns fast enough. 5 mph is hardly enough to get any G force and those Holley's might need a little help on the turns to slosh the fuel into the jets. Stop driving like a grandma.

I had an RB Holley w/o the center pivot float upgrade back when I was a youngin' and it never stumbled around a corner.

Tim, Tim, Tim, Tim, us old guys are suppose to stick together. Not stick it to each other.

I may not drive fast, but I have never had a problem keeping up with del horto fed car with my finely tuned Nikki.

This raises an interesting point. Just who is the fastest Old Guy anyway? Probably not me because I take fuel economy so seriously.

Is it Mike?, or Tim? Donnie used to be fast but he's retired now. Crit's driving a truck. Greg the Elder and Greg the Younger are too old to go fast anymore. Stu is constantly working on his engine bay and hasn't driven his FB in two years.

Chris has a bad clutch and Quad can't go around turns. All those guys driving FC's, FD's and 8's might be fast if they only had an FB. Yayo used to be able to lay rubber but he moved to PA. There's Juno and Ben and Andy the Younger but they always travel in a pack, so they really can't go that fast. And Andy the Elder's SA only has 4 gears.

Maybe Michael the Elder? He's got that 83 ported 13B sleeper. Might be Gene, he knows how to get hp out of a rotor. I dunno, who would it be?

Maybe it is me. This is what it would be like if one of you guys ever tried to keep up:

The 12A manure spreader auction is closing tomorrow, the current bid is $405:

And here's a really nice FD for sale. Holly you'd look good in this:
