Let me know how it goes Quad, maybe we can work a package deal, the whole kit and caboodle.
I'll gladly sell you the 465 to put a 600 on there. I'd sell ya the motor with the 465 even if it just made up most of the cost of the 600. I'm still gonna try the 465 on the 13B, just to see how it runs (just wanna test Kent's math). If it doesn't run well, I'll be forced into getting a 600 anyways. I have one lined up for $450, and that's everything I need including ANOTHER 12A manifold, and someone PM'd me earlier about wanting the RB 12A manifold. Seeing as I'll have the one from the 600 and the one currently on the 12A, I would sell both of them.

Only downside is I can't afford the 600 until I sell all this stuff, and I can't sell it until I get the 600...

So my wipers are fucked...and I think I fucked my new wiper motor up which was going ot replace the one that likes to start doing the jitterbug on it's own and won't stop. I thought the motor on the wiper motor assembly came off with those two screws and I could just swap those...but no...then these little magnet things on wires with springs popped out..I got it back together, but my hands weren't that clean...I may pop the motor in anyways just to see if I can squeak by on luck (which normally isn't good). In order to do this though, I need a clear-ish day where I can pop off my hood, remove the wiper cowling and all that and get it all off. At the same time, by the looks of all this chitter chatter going on now, I may make use of my fancy new tub of anti-seize, tube of graphite and trusty tub of bearing grease! Sounds fun... and somewhat kinky, but let's not go there...

Can I just once have the car be in PERFECT working order...even if just for a day?

Also, not sure if it's cuz of the cool weather we've been getting at 5am or what, but when the car is dead cold, upon startup and for a few minutes it kinda sounds as if my waterpump is making a groaning noise akin to the noise power steering pumps make only deeper and not as loud. I'm pretty sure it's just the weather... Every freakin' winter I hear new noises, notice more quirks and feel like worse **** about my car because it feels like it ages instantly upon cool-down.

Discovered the Miata shifter I got at the pull to the part provides no real advantage over the cheap Ebay Miata short shifter already in the car...as a result, if anyone wants it, it's for sale?

Again, I'm being nagged at by my car that the gearbox needs new blood... I'd be absolutely thrilled to do the gearbox and the diff, but money is stupid tight right now. Riverdale isn't exactly close by to my house..

Pretty sure my o2 sensor wire is fucked up. It had managed to drag across the ground for an unknown amount of time and frayed a good bit of it, but it was still intact so I wrapped it up as best I could and plugged it all back in (And used better, quality zip-ties).. My gas mileage is still down by two solid MPG (Had noted it, then discovered my o2 sensor was disconnected...corresponded roughly with the drop in average).

I seriously need to make new speaker mounts for the rear...mine are rapidly shattering into pieces and disintegrating.

I will say this..it's quite nice to have a heater that gets the cabin so hot you have to turn it down to middle of the temp slider to avoid SWEATING. This is a first for me..I've never had a heater work this well!

Last, but certainly not least on my little random update/rant... I won't get to see Craig until probably next weekend...and that sucks. Haven't seen him since last weekend.

Wait, what? lol Billy, did you quote the wrong person...

...and excuse me? Louvers for the RX-3?! Yer gonna make me get all slutty on that car the next OGTA meet...

I wish I could score a running stock RX-3SP in beat up silver for like $500... Then I could get all adventurous on it instead of Wanda and not worry about being able to get to work cuz one of them has to run... lol

Na....I quoted to correct post. Seemed like you were having a bad day so I would turn that frown upside down with a sweet rx3 parts score

Eh, it'll happen if it's meant to.

Right now I'm looking into a fun little (very lame, very illegal) project for my FC. EXTREMELY cheap too! We're talking this is gonna cost me less than $50.00 for the whole thing. So, I'm thrilled...

So, I got next weekend off. I need to check with a few people, AKA Ray and Billy to see if we can get the car to Ray's house and turn the weekend( starting Saturday morning) into the beginning of the swap! Anyone who would be kind enough to lend a hand is welcome, and hopefully I'll be able to return the favor someday.

Also Collin, if the price on the Miata shifter is free, I'll take it, if not, I'm too much of a bind to get that right now.

And the best super cheap mod you can do is to buy 10 feet of RV sewer hose at Wal MArt for $6, and duct tape it to your intake routing, then duct tape a cone filter to it, and run it in the cabin for AWESOME intake sound. This isn't my video but my friends and I did it based off of this.(mod is not permanent) Having a first gen forward hinged hood helps with this a lot, but removing a BMW headlight works too

Although that may or may not be true, I vote we don't get into that.

Why? I'm quite good at repairing my own vehicle nowadays..

Actually, the only thing that slows me down is waiting on parts or having to go buy tools. So...

I thought I could count on Kevin's running, I was wrong. And I didn't even have it for more than 2 weeks...

I think I'm just not destined to own a rotary...

Okay, well, it's really not necessary to refer to it as Kevin's car...because it isn't, it's yours.
Let me be perfectly honest and tell you that you did indeed purchase a used car that is in fact quite old... **** happens. And from the sounds of it, you were a bit rough with the poor thing. These are tough cars, but they all have their different failure points and yours simply reached that destination.
So personally, I don't care to have to read in this thread how you're implying, insinuating, speculating or whatever you want to call it, that you might have been sold a lemon, or a car on it's last legs... Because you didn't. I know Kevin...and there are MANY on here, and in this club, that have known him for worlds longer than I have.. And even *I* can tell you that he would have been brutally honest with you about the car and anything that may or may not be wrong with it.

The truth of the matter is that with any car you buy, no matter who you buy it from, you are willingly accepting that it could break. There are people out there that would sell a car literally on it's last legs, but I seriously doubt that Kevin is one of them.

So, on that note, I'm going to no longer be silent in asking you very nicely to not publicize your suspicious disappointment. I don't want to read it. Can I make it any clearer?

For ***** sake...

EDIT: And yes, that was quite a lot of anger..

there's really not a problem, other than one like mine(Let's hope he doesn't lose Wanda to a crash), that Collin doesn't have the parts or knowledge to fix in about a week.
