Old guys with 12As club meeting
#7304
Michael was right about my situation, I am swamped with course preparation stuff (biochemistry) so I worked all day at home. When meeting time came around I looked outside, it was raining and on the weather report, it was raining and promising to rain even more. So I popped open a beer and went back to work on the notes.
Sorry to miss the big surprise Juno! I am pretty curious about what you have for me, can it wait till the October 6th meeting? That's only a couple weeks away.
I like the mountain day idea but should we do it in the fall or spring?

Also Michael congratulations on figuring out that Nikki problem, that should go a long way towards getting you to the October meeting!

confused i'm not. just makes it harder to read while figuring out where a sentence ends and another begins. and glad u got the carb issues figured out.
brett, i've been using firefox for yrs and the spell check is what i love about it when posting in these forums. i'm currently having issues with it lately with it up and closing for no reason/warning. i'm thinking it's since the last java update. was working fine before that and the problem started after the update. i've tried everything i can think of to remedy the situation except uninstall/reinstall.

This is nothing new Tim, FOX makes up most of their news!

Michael have you tried the "go back" function in your restore options? You can reset your computer to the way it was before you downloaded that java update, that should fix it if it was caused by that or any other recent download.
Say dudes, what was the 12A count last night? Did our buddy from Virginia find his way from South Atlanta?

Yes I do know that - they are the uneducated ones!
Some companies that use Linux and these are just some not all (Amerada Hess Corporation, BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), Boscov's Department Stores, Burlington Coat Factory, Conoco, Cisco, Digital Domain, Ernie Ball Inc., Garden Grove California, City, Google, Just Sports USA, Kaiser Aluminum, Largo Florida, City, Lawson Inc., Mexico City - government, Mobil Travel Guide, Omaha Steaks, Panasonic, Raymour & Flanigan, Royal Dutch/Shell, Tommy Hilfiger, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Travelocity, U.S. Army, U.S. Federal Courts, U.S. Postal Service, WesternGeco) And the list goes on and on.
Microsoft is crap in my opinion - I will not throw away anymore of my money. I have an old computer that a buddy of mine built thats 8 years old. Non proprietary - It was slow and would barely do anything with Windows on it. We put Linux Ubuntu on it and it has never ran smoother or ever gave a hiccup. The only problem was a cooling fan which is regular maintenance. The problem is too many people watch Fox news!
