I know Colin, I was a pledge once. Only difference was I was 54 when I signed up. It was terrible. They made me wrestle a couple coeds in a kiddie pool filled with K jelly. 'Course I won.

Tall and skinny is stock and pretty Tim, right tire for the right car. Here they are!

Here's the bill (I saved my old Yoko's, too much tread to send to the shredder):

And Crit you are going to love this, while I had the Silver One in the shop getting some new tenny's, I had her alignment checked on one of those new fangled computer machines. The tech came out scratching his head, said no adjustment to my string method was necessary:

Great. Today I called Mazcare for them to tell me my ECU might be shot. Anyone got one for an SE?

I called Crit, but he was busy, and I am starting to rack up my favors with him...

Kevin, seriously, I'm thinking you need a Nikki. They are sweet and civilized and they just love to deliver the goods to rotary intakes.

As an added bonus you get that carburetor throb.

I've got one we can rebuild. Question is, can it handle a 13B?

I'm betting on the Nikki.

Hey Quad,

Is this a GSL-SE or one of those 2nd gen SE models? If it is GSL-SE, I have a spare ECU I can send you. I remember a bit about your problem, but if you want to PM me with details, I might be able to help ya. I have a lot of experience with these (especially the GSL-SEs, but the 2nd gens are not much different), so might be able to give you some things to check.

I might just buy Kevin the Elders 12A. He wanted like $2k for it? It's probably a safer bet than putting a Nikki on a 13B...

I do - but I need a really clean non rusted 82 tank for a full ground up restoration that we are doing for a guy upstate. I do not have an 82 tank
The parts cars I have are covered in Kudzu now. When it dies off I am pulling all of them out and stripping them

It's no problem, and you're welcome to borrow my spare ECU. I was at work when you called, and just couldn't talk. I can bring it out on Thursday night.

74 repu

Here is a 74 REPU that we built a 13b street port for with a Racing Beat intake manifold, a Holley 750 DP and installed twin 6AL MSD boxes. The owner has finally decided to get it on the road so I have been going through the brakes and fuel system! Engine bay needs some cleaning up and re-wiring!

That was me Collin, on my way to work. Sorry didn't notice you! But I don't understand, how can you get lost in midtown Jefferson at 3:00 am? You must have had quite a night.

Man I'm liking those new tires, the Silver One is feeling like she just rolled off the lot in 1985. She just flew into Atlanta this morning, speed limit+ ride all the way despite the rain, didn't skip a beat.

Juno, you shouldn't have! And if it's what I think it is, you REALLY REALLY shouldn't have!

I understand. I actually just talked to Mazcare, and they're thinking it might not be the ECU. They're so lost on what's wrong with this thing. And rxstasy3, it's the 13B GSL-SE. First gen. If I get Kevin's 12A, I might sell the GSL-SE as a whole car, or might part it out. All depends on what's wrong...

Because it was 3am and there was no interstate access from the exit I'd been on, which would have been fine because there are signs to follow...however apparently someone was in trouble because like twenty cops were randomly stopping and running into like diners and **** and blocking the intersection and waving me in the other direction down one way streets away from the damn signs for the interstate...then I missed a turn, which sent me down more one way streets, then I managed to lose the signs...my iPhone's GPS has sucked since I updated to the latest OS and wasn't working...managed to land myself somewhere in the ghetto and had a nissan 200sx ride my *** so closely he almost hit me multiple times by speeding up then slamming on his brakes. It was all sorts of fucked up. I finally found my way back to I-85 thanks to making my way to an area I'd gotten lost in like a year ago.

Super fun.
