Now that's twisted. Crit could walk to work and to the meetings, wouldn't even need the REPU anymore.

Here's an original printing of the 1985 RX-7 factory repair manual that is coming up on ebay in 4 hours that looks like it could go for a decent price, if anybody is interested (I already have two, my "workshop" copy and my "library" copy).

It's kind of pissing me off that I can't seem to get a job with Autozone... I just don't get it...they all know and love me there. At least to my face...hell, we see each other in stores around town and stuff and talk and talk and talk like we're best friends...Maybe I'm just too gay or something... I'm more than qualified to do it and the management and staff all know I take my job seriously...so...-sigh- I'm sick of working somewhere that has zero to do with cars.

Do you want me to talk with them Collin? I know those guys too. You'd go good in there.

Bill, is that a dog in your hatch area? It gets real hot in there, one time a can of my refrigerant popped and broke out the windshield. (True story).

Ray,
First off, I'm not an idiot and would never slow cook my dog just to feed Michael sandwichs at our backyard bootleg 7 meet-get-togethers no matter how close we are. However, yes that is my Yorkie, and we were out side the whole time he was in the car and it was a very cool day.

Ray - that is cool. I remember when I was little my grandfather (RIP), had a yard full of chickens, eggs, banana's, etc. This was back in St. Thomas U.S.V.I. We even had goats LOL! Would love to come and check out your little farm sometime. Brings back alot of good memories!

So after a little spray paint, a ripped piece of towel to align the passenger headlight, and a sledge hammer, the Maxima cleaned up I also hand polished the headlights (drill polisher broke...) and added new fog bulbs.

First pic is before, second after.

I'm here Bill, and yes, I've heard Yorky burgers are rather tasty. Why don't you bring him down for the December OGTA?

Looking good Brett, nice work. Should help with the resale!

A home isn't a home without a bunch of chickens running around Roland. Come on down anytime.

Anybody gonna be at the December 1 OGTA?

Happy Thanksgiving folks!

I'll be at the Dec 1 OGTA. And hopefully I'll be at Ben and Juno's OGTA as well.

Nightmare almost runs correctly again! I've currently got the fuel pump running off my Black and Decker Jump Start It battery jumper, but I'm working on wiring it to the battery. I'm just waiting for my friend to come over to help me weave the wires through the firewall..

Nice work Kevin, now remember to turn that bugger off when you're not driving the car!

Greg I haven't received the FSM yet, I bought the one on ebay. Should be here in a few days. Do you want it? $25 plus you need to tell me what's going on in your avatar.

I'm planning to be at the Dec 1 meet. It might be the last one for the Gray Ghost. I've thought about driving the blue one, but it's just not worth the risk with no insurance or registration.

I want to know about Greg's avatar too. I can't tell what is going on there, but it sure did get me thinking...

I'm a bit confused and a little pissed off....

I decided tonight was the night to pull out my gauge cluster and replace the intermittent over-rev buzzer. I performed the exact same procedure as I have in two other FCs, except... I wanted to drop the buzzer a little cuz it was a bit high to start with. Rather than come in around 6,500-6,750 like it's supposed to, it'd come on (When it decided it wanted to work) around 7,200rpm. So...in a nutshell..I pulled the tach out of the housing and turned the METAL pot back around a quarter turn. This is all per Icemark's (R.I.P) instruction.

So yeah...now I don't get anything. I know I have the solder connections down right, and the wiring is brand new and of the correct gauge..polarity is right.. So what do you guys think? Maybe the circuit itself has been compromised or there's a bad joint somewhere else on the board? I suppose tomorrow I will cut my coolant level sender wire in half to trip it. Normally you would simply pull the connection apart...but no, it must've been damaged at some point in a past life, so it's long since been spliced back together in a rather crappy way wrapped in DUCT TAPE... I know that circuit works for sure because when I do coolant flushes, it'll go off until it's all full and the air has been bled out.

Maybe it's time I re-pin those plugs and swap in the S5 gauge cluster.... That, however, wouldn't solve anything either..for the simple fact that the tach indicates redline is 8,000 revs and the buzzer wouldn't go off until it's right about there (assuming it works or works properly.

Now, this all sounds like it's a silly endeavor...but I like that little buzzer!

Hmm, RX-4 wasn't sold here until 1974. I wonder what he's really selling.

Well, the REPU kicked my *** today. Chad was nice enough to bring me a 4.63 diff, so I went to remove the 3.90. The axles are popped out, drive shaft removed, and diff is loose. I could swear that the ring gear is bigger than the hole in the housing, and the chunk just won't come out. Seriously, a buddy and I wrestled the loose diff for more than an hour before calling it quits.

I'm hoping this isn't one of those ship-in-a-bottle things....
