Ya'll are goobers. I'm glad the silver one's coming along nicely, Ray. I promise I'll be up there soon with some help! I've been working and draining my bank account for tuition and getting everything ready for the 19th. Soon, though!

I doubt I'll be able to make it to the lake meet... Work's short handed, I'm short on gas and time, so I'm going to hopefully be making some tips to get me going. Sorry! That's 2 years I've missed, damnit... Kidding

By the way, I got the gearbox in the REPU. It's actually a rare SA box, so I'm pretty happy about that. It's FAR to late to fire up the truck, so the test drive will have to wait until the morning.

And the FB's looking good. I'm vaccuming under the seats today, cleaning my passenger one, cleaning the drivers one from Mike and putting that in, switching out hatch struts, putting that passenger door seal back on finally, and whatever else I can think of. Pictures from yesterday:

Hey Brett, why not bring some rubbing compound to the lake and we'll see if we can't get the orange oxidation off of there. It'll thin the paint, but a good coat of wax will protect it well.

 

Ray, the Silver Queens looking great! I'm glad you finally pulled it out of the chicken coup.

Sorry about the white car though. It's a shame to strip it down. Perhaps you can find an engine some day soon.

The White One will rise again, I'm only removing stuff that will spiff up the Silver One that would probably age in storage anyway. All the White One really needs is a street ported 12A, Billy and Crit were talking about possibilities at the Tuesday meeting. Seems like a communal engine build or two is not totally out of the question!
