Old guys with 12As club meeting
Those are great Kent, very "business"-like. We'll have to correct some errors though, I am not the current OGTA President. That's Mark, who is a bit of a lame duck right now since he sold his FB (kind of like our current government, that is to say, if GW drove an FB I'd probably like him better).
You guys might not want me as President anyway, since I am a member of the Communist Workers Party and my platform would be to raise taxes and socialize the club.
I'm thinking Mike would make a good President, what'd'all think?

Give me some details on those 12a Cores... I am always interested in them!
PM me or reply here. I always show up in this thread.
Hey Ray, you said you were available next week for me to pick up the other cores, right?

Nice photos Ian, you gotta love silver. The driver ain't bad looking either. I'll see if I can photoshop that silver car of yours into the meeting this week - you are now an official OGTA member (wanna run for President?)
I usually like the stock look, but that body kit looks pretty good and will be even better with SE or after market wheels (again, I'm a fan of the "X" pattern, but the body kit changes the situation).
Stu I'm mostly available weekends and evenings during the week, but you are going to have to define "next" a little better! (Ah, to be young and carefree, when the names of the days have little meaning).
Looks like good weather for Tuesday.

I think Ill do great as president, when anything goes wrong, Ill go on vacation to the hamptons, and if its a bad decision to be made, I can go with the most stupid option with no hesitating
Like I said, im with Ray, im with the Communist Workers Party.
BUT... the cores I, PM you, they are in Brunswick, like 150 for the good, 100 for the bad. These are friend prices just for the OGTA's! after that, you wont like the mark up

Ray,
Don't hog up all the 12a's, as a few of us need some too. hehe
Darth, I like the front body kit. Its just enough to set it apart.
So when is the next meeting? Feb 5th? I get off that morning at 7am and could roll down.
It would be good to meet more 1st gen peeps and a few more my age also.

Be good to see you Chad, especially in an SA, REPU or FB! Billy too, if we can get him out of the house.
Next meeting is Tuesday night, Jan 15, 7:00 pm at Jeffery's in Suwanee (I'll probably get there earlier, 6:30 - 7:00 to test some of the brews on tap - don't want flat stuff for the club).
February meeting would normally be Feb 5 (1st Tues of the month) but then OGTA folks not being normal, who knows?
I've been fixing up the White One today, it being so nice out. Should still be clean on Tuesday. Crit gave me a mint red leather driver's seat, I added my mint red leather steering wheel, redid all the faded plastic, gave it a bath and touched up the emblems:

Of course, the SA needs motor so I would be in the gsl-se.
I am off that day but to drive all the way back home would be a killer unless someone had an extra couch.
On this meeting would it start earlier like around noon?

I hear that, I usually see if I work that day or not haha. I can be down there saturday or sunday. It will take me a good 2 - 3 hours. And the protege has bad shocks, I dont think it will handle 2 engines in the rear... I think one would bottom out!
Yeah civics are cooler....
I might brave the highway in the FB. Shes pretty shaky over 55 though (flat spots suck!)
If not i'll swing up there in the Civic again. We'll see!

Good decision Collin, and Austin, if you can bring your new FB, we'd love to see it and you can get all kinds of feedback about fixing it up, some that might actually be useful.
Collin I will give you some hints about the directions to Jeffrey's:
1. It's a sports bar in Suwanee
2. The directions are buried someplace in this thread
3. You can't drink beer unless you are 21, but they serve cokes and stuff (pretty good food too).
