Old guys with 12As club meeting
It was the Lotus monthly drive, so, you can assume which car I was in. Some of those guys are a little crazy. And considering how poorly the morning started off, there were some of us who were a little tenative. But still, all in all, really cool day.
I'm wondering how the 1st gen would do up there. I'm a bit worried about the lack of power though.

I wish Kevin was my cable guy... He'd be like 'What the ****'s the problem... bitch?'
With my small 205/50/15's, the car's scrapes on every other thing. In FL I had to go into every store or parking lot diagonal so the lip
and exhaust wouldn't scrub... I need bigger wheels and tires!
But what happend was I pulled off of my driveway into my yard to park there since a tree is leaning for the usual spot I park the FC and
it was windy and raining. And the yard had a groove in it, the front tires dropped in it, and before I could stop it ripped the lip off and it
was past the front tires...
What's with the taped wires, Ray?
AND I rode around with my Dad yesterday since he was staying in Stone Mountain for work, and I drove 233.7 miles and got 24 mpg! I
was grinning when I filled it up

Crit, The car is fine to drive that far, I am having charging issues now though. The alternator isnt putting out at all and its tested good. Im thinking its not hooked up right. I should have the plug on the back of the Alt hooked up to something right? When I got the car the alt only had the one battery plug hooked up. I have a FB alternator on it and im pretty sure my Voltage Regulator is gone but I dont know where to find it anyhow.

I might have the voltage regulator, but there's also a good chance mine is different. They changed a lot of ignition, emissions gear and wiring with the change to Series 3.
Yeah I noticed the VR was different from 72 to 73 even. Im trying to not use it anyhow as I have the internally Regulated FB alternator in it. I just need to find a source under the hood for a switched 12V supply to hook up to the back of the alt.
Rayyy.... I've got a present for you at the next OGTA meet
I got this poster in the mail since I was one of the first whatever to sign up for something to do with Nitto tires. So I redid my
wall and the lady came down... Yes, I know the calendars are different, but disregard that and check out the FB air filter cover thing
And speaking of tires, I've put in applications at discount tire and kauffman tire... anyone know anyone who's hiring around
Cumming/ Gainesville/ Dawsonville/ Dahlonega?

Brett the room's lookin' good but I have to ask, where'd you git that Cooper Creek sign? And is Ms. April a friend of yours?
Speaking of which, Dave did you hear the bunnies'll be at Mitty on Saturday?

And Ms. April is much prettier than Ms. May, so she's going to stay up for a while...This Mitty that you speak off... is it expensive? I went to the ticket website and online sales are over, but they say they can still be bought at the gate. If I'm not working, which I probably wont, I think it would be fun to come up there and see it.
The mitty is always a blast, usually some old school rotary race cars there. Its probably around $35-45 for two day ticket at the gate. The old school japanese car meet is at it this year also.
I went last year and it was a good time. With a good turn out of rotorheads and the Old School Japanese guys there it should be even better. Unfortunately, I am booked up this weekend.
Man it's getting to be that time of year when RX-7 events are almost daily occurances.
Deals Gap last weekend, the Mitty this weekend, OGTA meeting next Tuesday, Zoom Fest, Crit's Lake House and joint OSJC/OGTA weekends right around the corner.
It's hard to keep up!

Those are nice looking red heads Brett.

Excellent. Northern had some sweet deals, and this way you'll always have one.
I got the Torin 1-ton foldable hoist... Though I'm curious, does yours have free space on either side where the hydraulic ram attaches to the whole shebang? Where it attaches to the boom, there's like half an inch or more on either side of the tip of the piston itself and at the base where the ram attaches to the support pole, there's some space on either side as well.

Mitty bound Friday after work!
