Those 2GDFI mods do make you feel good, don't they? Best thing about a 2nd gen, IMHO. Here's some movies:

Hey, if anyone has any requests from the Australian Grand Prix, let me know. If you've got a favorite team or driver, hats run about $40 US. Deadline for orders is 9am Saturday morning.

Yes, the Ghost is fighting back. He's been marinating in Sea Foam since Wed. I ran 4 oz through with the engine running. I choked the engine dead with 2 oz in each rotor on Wed. I add another oz in each rotor this morining to marinate. The most amazing thing is that every time I just bump the starter to circulate the Sea Foam since Thursday the Ghost will start up. If crank for more than a second he fires and I have to turn him off. No choke, no pumping the gas, nothing. He just wants to run...

I am going to keep marrinating until Sunday. I think I'll add another oz of Sea Foam to each rotor tomorrow. If all continues as planned, on Sunday the neighborhood gets fogged.

Guys,

My wife has been back in the hospital since Wed. She is doing much better now. But, that is why I have not been on the board for a couple of days. I am not going to be able to coordinate the mountain drive. Can someone else pick up the ball on this and get a trip set up. I will have to play any type of a day trip by ear over the next couple of weeks.

The struts only or them with the springs? I've got a set of decent S4 AAS struts, and a stock set of S5 GTU springs, but they're not together and I don't have the strut tops or w/e they're called. You can have them both for $15 since I'm broke

Why RX-3's rule (shamelessly stolen from the non-tech forum):

And why 1st gens are even more fun (but they don't come with the girl):

Sold!. Just need the struts themselves, no springs needed. If you will be keeping the spindle/uprights can I please get the bolts that hold them to the struts? Can you bring them to the next OGTA meet? If not shoot me a pm with your number.

So I really really really need to check out what the heck's wrong with my sunroof. EVERY time it rains the seats get soaked, along with whatever passengers might be sitting in them and the passenger floorboard does too. I can't wait to vaccuum all the crap out of it tomorrow. Anyone know what could be making it do this? I could guess the seal and drains, but I'm totally unaware how I could fix those. Well I am the seal, but those are jacked up crazy high and I'd rather RTV the **** out of it and not use it than pay a small fortune for a little seal.

And I totally put in my cheap ebay front strut bar this weekend. The fitment's horrible, but I got it to work. I just have to take half of it off the check the rad. cap now...

And I got that lip and some paint. I test fitted it with some zip-ties and it's gonna look sweeet. I've got some T2 sideskirts, but they're missing the front piece. They were next to free though... who could complain?

And I raced go-karts at Andretti's today. They were slow though- I never used the brake once and there were a bunch of hairpins and what not.

Did ya'll have fun at that autocross today?

Brett, start by putting a coat hanger and/or compressed air down your drains.

so i get my fuel pump replaced and fire the car up. she ran for about a minute and died. (obviously because she was running on fuel that was left in the carb) i unhooked the main and return lines and there is no fuel shooting out. i see 3 possibilities here.

1. the used fuel pump i bought is no good
2. the tank is completely dry (the warning light was on before i did the swap)
3. i accidentally reversed the fuel lines when i hooked the pump up

what do you guys think?

Not sure about the history on this, but have you changed the fuel filter?

1. Put gas in.

2. Check fuel filter like Mike sez.

3. Double check fuel line hook up to new fuel pump.

4. Fuel pumps rarely go bad, I've replaced a couple only to discover it was something else causing the no fuel problem.

are you getting spark on your trailing plugs? when i was having problems with my fuel pump, it was because the ground to the trailing coil had worked itself loose, and that's the circuit that the fuel pump is tied to. no trailing coil, no fuel pump.
