I'm sending four GSL-SE injectors to witchhunter tomorrow. They've saved 3 stuck injectors of the 4 I've sent them, so it's money well spent thus far.
I'm there folks, especially if there's red interior parts involved.
Kevin, sounds like you are keeping the Turd after all, nice move! Let us know if we can help with anything.
You know there's some politics behind that GA engineering board's operation Tim. You may need to grease some more palms before the next round. Hope to see that new Lotus of yours soon!
Crit will the new one be ready by then?
PS, I had really good luck with this outfit that specializes in injector testing:
http://www.lindertech.com/reconinj.htm
I sent them a set of six from the jeep, expecting it to cost around $150 to have them reconditioned ($25 each, according to their website). But a day later the guy calls me up and says that five of the six tested fine, squirting well within tolerances and that only one had a problem (which matched my symptoms of one cylinder flooding out). So he sent back the five good injectors along with one matched from his nearly infinite supply (according to him) of spares (be interesting to see if this applies to SE injectors). Total cost $30 ($25 for the injector, $5.00 shipping priority mail).

Thanks Kevin, those are in great shape, especially for an earlier version interior. But my 84/85 GSL interiors are quite a bit different so I don't think they'll work, even at your dirt cheap asking price.

He's a P.E. He's now personally responsible for his designs. Employers will pay more to have a fall guy in case the rough collapses. Very cool, Tim.
Crit, car looks great.
Donnie, if Kevin doesn't want the oil cooler, I might be interested. I assume I would need to get lines made to fit a 12A. And fab up a bracket. Anyone have exeperience swaping an FC oil cooler into an FB?
I'll see you gusy on the 6th.

Tim- Why did you decide to go PE? I know some engineers dont want to be professional.
Are you gaining or loosing anything?
Mike- Just let me know. I need to know if i need to get Billy to bring the cooler. I had mounted an FC cooler in my old SA, you can use the FC lines, but some use the FC lines to get new ones made that are just a little longer.

Anyone need any FC parts for the upcoming meet?
Everyone else is doing it...
Austin- Collin mentioned that you said something about trading the 'vert and that white SE. I'm totally up for that and would put cash with it and whatever else- I'm getting hell for the thing sitting in the driveway
I cleaned it up a little today- put the hood bolts in, put the intake back together, cleaned some junk out of the inside, and even dropped the top for my little brother
So I'm totally going to check out an exhaust that Zach (311unity13B) has tomorrow morning. Hopefully it's an apexi system but he's not absolutly sure. Even if it's not, a decent brand'll do.
Happy almost 2009 new year OGTA...
