Point 'A' is just the intersection of 400 and 60, and there's a home depot there that's hard to miss. Maybe we could meet there and snap a few pictures. There's also a gas station there on the other side of the street so we can fill up and what not. Then we could grab some food in Dahlonega if some people haven't eaten, and drive by the college I'm going to And there's some small things there in Turner's Corner too for a pit stop too.

I'm excited...
Who is still in for Saturday? I propose we meet at the Home Depot parking lot at the intersection of 400 and 60 at 9:30.

Brett
Ray
Mike
Kevin
Tim
anyone else?

Brett, how long do you think it will take to complete the figure 8 route?

So, convinced our coworker to do a compression test on his car (look a few pages back). 0 psi on all 4 cylinders. That cannot be good. He claims he can see the pistons moving correctly. Ghetto test has no air coming out of the spark plug holes. I think he dun blowed her up good.

Hmm... It took us maybe an hour and a half to do the half thing, so... if we went through it with no stops I'd assume 3 hours? I'm not too good at guesstimating

$2K? Wow... He was at the OSJC meet and traded me his gauge surround and switches for an old set of door panels I had on my car before the interior swap, and was telling me about how he has T2 injectors on his stock-port S4 n/a .

I think I got this frig going again. I just shut it down and unplugged it overnight. Plugged it back in tonight and it is working, making ice again. I'm crossing my fingers, just hope it got stuck and won't stick again for a lot of years.

So is the mountain run on or not. You guys seem to be wishy washy about it. Hell, for a real good time, do the Deals Gap Rotary Rally on April 18th and drive the Dragon.

I'd come down for it if I was in the country. Looks like a good time. Have fun!

Holly: Good job on rebooting the fridge. Maybe Microsoft built the icemaker?

I'm still game for this Saturday but I wish we could find a date when more folks could make it.

I had an interesting experience this morning, when I got on 85 out in Jefferson at 5:30 am, I noticed some round looking headlights in my rear view. Sure enough, it was an FB, dark colored, I'm guessing an early '80's GSL from the insignia on the window pillar. I didn't recognize the guy but we drove in together until he exited at Jimmy Carter. Wonder who it was?

Holly, our refrigerator is acting up, could you come out and take a look at it? Also, who did you pay off so that you can keep the photo in your signature?

I've been pushing this date. But, I am with Ray, if we can pick a date that works for more folks let's go with that.

What date works best?

3/28
4/4
4/11

Vote for the dates that work for you. I'll total up the votes and get back to everyone Sunday evening.

3/28 should be the monthly Lotus run. Haven't actually met the guys, but they seem pretty cool. They don't seem to mind others tagging along.

4/4 is possibly iffy for me. 4/11 should be fine.

All are fine with me Mike, let's get a consensus.

Incidentally, I got a PM from an FC guy who would like to meet some of you guys so he may being showing up at future meetings.

Welcome Larry and your 88 vert!

HAHA I never thought of that one Kent. Anytime something is weird on computers and I can't fix it, I always reboot, reboot, reboot. I bet microsoft has a chip in my frig.

You should have pulled that guy over and given him a OGTA card, Ray.

Maybe you should start with a reboot on the frig Ray. But a caution warning that you may already know: Don't shut it down, unplug and re-plug it within 30 minutes or so. I'm sure someone knows on here, but something about the compressor that could be damaged. I shut mine down and unplugged it for about 24 hours. Your frig probably needs a shut down and clean off coils, and the good clean on the inside, so try the reboot. If that don't work, then I will come out and lay my hands on it.

And the pic in my sig. Well, I'm sure someone just couldn't resist the smile and the rotor housing hanging around my neck and rotor on my arm.

Does that mean we're not doing this one, or that we're going to do this Saturday and have another one on a different date? If we were to reschedule I'd vote for the 4th, but I'd probably get stuck working. Maybe we should do them both...?

Mannn, he deleted the listing. Maybe someone swept up that steal.

And now I'm leaving to go move my 2nd car so my uncle can start tearing out the LSD and 5-lug and then scrap it. I'm using those 300ZX wheels to move it, so I'll have an idea of what they'd look like on my car, so of course I'll have pics later...

No mountain drive this weekend...

We'll see what date works the best for everyone and then I'll send out an invitation Sunday evening.

Brett the route you mapped out seems like a really good run. I vote we keep that route.

Wasn't me Stu, I don't know how to text. But come on down anyway. We could use a little excitement.

Be patient Brett, we just need to find a date that works for lots of folks. How 'bout you Stu, which of the next 5 Saturdays works for you?
