Not that I have tried PCP. I just haven't had a red bull in like... 4 months?

Dave, I want one with the OGTA logo. Not sure what color I want yet. How close is the blue to the mazda blue?

So guess who got next Tuesday off from work...? ME and I'll be finally attending another meet... I guess I'll wait for the next batch of rotor's BigIslandSevens, as one with an OGTA in the center is growing on me, and will go good with my new 'Rotary Powered' little sticker things Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know. Now off to work!

And what about changing my username- any supporting facts?

I'm all for the change in user name Brett, brettlinton7 has it all over Pimpdaddy7835, although I've got to admit Pimpdaddy7835 was growing on me. And nice work on getting the message across to the boss, sometimes these guys need to be reminded of what they got before they lose it.

And Dave, those rotary stickers with the OGTA inside could be the next great thing, we all need at least one or two (maybe two for each car, one for each rear quarter window?)

Mike, how's Michelle???

Bad news guys...I really don't think I'll be able to make it this time...in any car...

Unfortunately for me, it turns out next weeks hours are absolutely terrible...and $12.00 in gas to come to the OGTA meet just isn't an absolute 'need' right now. I know some of you wanted to see my new car in person, and I apologize, but this is what the economy has decided for me.

I'm working three days next week. That will cost me $18.00 in gas. This leaves me with $31.55 in my account. If I come to the meet, that's another $12.00 in gas. That knocks my balance down to $19.55. Ebay has chosen now to show it's ugly face with it's seller fees on stuff that didn't even sell...and that's $3.00 more to come out of my account that's already been put in motion. $16.55. I owe two people money, totaling $15.00 combined. I must go to Crit's today to return his impact sockets and to help him/learn replace his clutch and whatnot. Hopefully the gas left in Grace gets me there and back. It should, but that's the 'if' right now. Something has got to give, and that something is the meet this month.

I'm very mad at my G.M. right now and truthfully wouldn't mind if her truck suddenly were to break down. I covered a shift for her, which prevented me from getting to Lanier Tech that day so I can move forward with my damn life, and she gives me only 18 hours!

I think I'm going to have to get a second job...which may just **** up getting my G.E.D. altogether for this year...which means I'll have to take it next year after they've added Trig to it...I'm not even sure what Trig is! I'm afraid that if this is the kind of hours I can expect to get on a weekly basis then this whole having no money at all and not being able to leave my house because my bills add up to exactly what I make may become a cycle that isn't going to stop. I have to have gas. I have to have a phone and I have to have car insurance. I may be forced to sell a car if it gets any worse. Fabulous. I know that this isn't a blog space and few of you will care, but this royally sucks. I'm no stranger to reality, but seriously...

I either need more hours or a different job.

Pictures will just have to work.

I do want to yet again thank Holly for the ticket to Petit LeMans yesterday. My ears are still ringing with the sound of perfection! And a thanks to Crit for the loaner chairs so Holly and myself wouldn't have to sit on the ground anymore.

sorry to here about ur delima collin. something i've learned over the yrs is that needs outweigh wants. get ur priorities straight. any job getting less than 40hrs/wk doesn't cut it. i've worked 2nd shift more than any other shift combined over the course of my working life. sure i might not be able to do alot of things i'd like to do like going to meets and such but one things for sure, i have money in the bank and bills get paid. i sit my *** at home alot, and alot of times it pays off. sometimes u have to bite the bullet and do whats needed. if one job don't cut it, try to find another. but the GED will get u a better job, one that allows u to earn vacation time off to take to go to the meets.

Yayo420: I left the intake manifold for the 12A with Zack. Sorry i didn't meet up with you in person if you were there.

Also I did not get to clean or bead blast the mani. I was busy painting cars the whole week prior. My bad.

Everyone who wants a sticker please PM me a few details..: Address, how many you want, what color, what design( OGTA or No OGTA) I will get them made up as soon as possible with the OGTA. Also I will have more silver non-OGTA ones made since silver is apparently popular

Hit me up, also I "may" come down for the meet, about a 60% chance of that.

Dave

Dave if you show up this OGTA meeting will be in your honor. Which means free beer for you. And if you want to camp out on the way back to Carolina, the Jefferson Hotel has a vacancy.

I'll take four stickers with OGTA's, two silver and two white. Mailing and billing address is the Jefferson Hotel.

How was Le Petite LeMans? (In french that translates to "little guys running naked around the track").

Collin, listen to Michael. He knows what he's talkin' about (that's Palin' talk, use Google to translate). A GED is a must. So is a 40 hour job. And a salary way beats an hourly wage. I wish someone had told me that when I was 18.

Next OG@TA meeting this Tuesday, October 7 at Jeffery's in Suwanee.

6:30 p.m. for the no life's, 7:00 for the regulars and 7:30-8:00 for the really cool people. A beautiful half moon will be provided free of charge.

No! Use what I left with you for those things to come to the meet! You're like the only other person my age, and us FC's have to prevail! Think of it as an OGTA donation :-) I got a few extra hours in this week, so I will deff. be coming. AND guess who finished all of their community service and paid off their fine and will have a restriction-free license starting Tuesday morning?

We could take up a collection. I'm sure we could clear $12.00 for the Collin fund without too much trouble.

Nice work Brett, now ease off the gas, OK?

New gear oil in the White One's tranny and rear end, plus an oil change and I tuned up the alternator belts, bled the clutch and I might get to the brakes after dinner. Man I love that car.

You know it, and for more than one reason; The recent experience, and because gas sucks- I've been trying to be conservative, and I got 22.3 MPG when I filled up earlier at $3.829 /gl. Redline's have been scarce lately

And I just submitted a username request... we'll see how it goes!

Noooo, no one needs to start a fund for me. I'm going to go over all my financial jargon again to be sure, but I really doubt I'll be making this one. The club meets every month...so it's not like it's the last time I'll see you guys! I'll try...I'll see if my mom has a couple bucks stashed or something but I'm not guaranteeing y'all will see Sabine this month.

Why can't Rotaries run on water? Can someone explain that to me?

Dunno though...Brett's house is just as far as the meet and it all rests on my hours.

Anyways, I really didn't want anyone to be all: Awww, poor Collin...when I wrote that post this morning I didn't have anyone to vent on...and I don't have a blog or anything...so I just kinda started typing and didn't stop until I felt better having let it out.

Bottom line is...there will be other meets...and I'm totally fine with missing this one.

actually they will. someone just needs to invent a pill that once dissolved, it makes the water combustible.

my pay is hourly. salary pay pays no OT.

cheapest gas here is $3.63.

didn't the old moonshinners sometimes run their own shine in the tank? there's the answer to our fuel problems.

I would love to get some gas... It has been 2 weeks here with none.

I actually drove up to mooresville (I think, It is Exit 36, where we have our meets) to get some premium gas for the miata. **** sucks.

EDIT: For those non carolina folks, about an hour and 45 minutes round trip, for 4.5 gallons of 93.

Dave, if you are going to make the meet on Tuesday, I can pay you then. What does the blue look like? Is it like Mazda blue or dark blue? I want one with the OGTA logo. Do you have any pics of ones with the OGTA logo?

Hope to see you Tuesday and like Ray said we'll cover your beer.
