When you were showing off the 'sock lock' and those amazing power windows, they put me back on the track of thinking about getting an old beat up SA/FB and tinkering with it once the 'vert's gone.

Anyone want to trade their 1st gen for a black on black S5 convertible with a siezed motor and a tad bit o' rust? It can be beat all to hell and barely running...?

whats up OG/TAers? Sorry I've been such a stranger, but we've been really busy in the shop and busy with trying to grow interest in these OSJC meets. We have people coming from Alabama, Tennessee, North and South Carolina. It looks like we will bust the 100 car mark at this next meet. I wanted to see if I could get a rough estimate from you guys. www.rockauto.com is sending some "Goodie bags" and maybe a couple of gift certificates to raffle. (Our first sponsor!...Whoo, hoo) I need a rough estimate for RockAuto, and also for people that are coming from out of state. (I have some e-mails from other states wanting to know how many cars will be there. I guess they are trying to determine if the meet will be worth the drive) I guess now that we have a "sponsor" we won't have to crush anymore cars for hotdogs! Oh Yeah, The Starion/Conquest guys say they have 17 confirmed cars, coming form three states. Wow, that takes guts to drive a Starion a long distance (more than 5 miles) Lol. I hope they have AAA towing. Lmao

 

Haha... thats good. I tried to get off of work for this but I couldn't...

 

Maybe 5 out of the 17 Starions will make it. the rest will blow head gaskets, lose rocker arms, or mysteriously just quit running!

 

can't say for sure but i plan to show. but that all depends on what all happens between now and then.
