Stu. The sad part is, only other rotary owners will get it We'll, most of them. I can't say for the RX8 guys. I don't think they will ever get the famous "brap" out the 8's.

The car ran when the guy parked it. He keep it garaged with the intent to fix it up but just does not have the time. He has 126xxx miles on the engine so it would need a rebuild but I plan on getting the motor that is in there running first but then drop in my streetport motor from my car. Im not too excited about the blue just because i always liked my burple, but with as good as shape as the paint is in it would be a shame to redo it right off.

Well the goodies come at a price.. In this case it was sacraficing the turbo 6 port project As I traded the T 70 Big Shaft Turbonetics I had for it.Not too mention 160 bucks in gas AHHH!!! A worthy Sacrafice I believe. It will be some time before it is on the car permanently. As I don't want to run the big wheels I will need with the stock drum rear brakes Not to mention the wheels will probably cost me my other arm and leg..

What time are the Saturday meets at and where? I remember you telling me about them. I just spaced it. I work Sat till around 5 and then i am free to play. We'll put in a good showing next time

Good job Robbie on the new SA!! I picked up my gem for 500 bones as well and drove it home.135+k on the ticker. I am inspired by Sam and Stu,.. Maybe a rebuild in the near future.
Dave

Hey Dave. That widebody kit looks like it is for a SA. You can make it work on a FB, but I don't know how much work it will take. It would just be easier to put it on a friends SA. I could let you use my SA for test fitting

If everything worked out im might be at the meet, not sure how the weekend is planned. I also have to finish making a competition base for Amy's NC State Taxidermy Show. cross your fingers on it. If im not there you all can drop by and see the progress, if im here.

Grrrr!! I hate lazy employees I got to pull apart at 3:45. Talked to a worker and he said" If you think you can get the engine ready to be yanked by 5, I'll do it....4:45 I am waiting for him. He stalls for 30 minutes then says they aren't going to help me tonight. Soo I am going back first thing in the morn and grabbing my stuff.

Sam, left you a message. I will grab the tranny for you. I am grabbing the coil for the FB and maybe the hatch struts for the FC. Most everything is still there. let me know if anyone needs me to grab something tomorrow morning.
Get it while the gettins good
Dave

me and a friend were driving around and we saw an 85 GSL-SE, white, manual, for sale, down highway 16, about 3 minutes before it crosses by hwy 150 in Denver.....i was wondering if it belonged to any of you guys, i'm broke so i wouldn't buy it, but i figured i'd let you guys know in case some of you were interested, and just mainly curious about who's it was lol. i called, but i can't remember the guy's name nor anything.
