Sounds to me like you either have a blown fuse, or a bad connection. Tracking down wiring problems is what I do for a living. The thing that would help is knowing wheather or not the car has had the instrument cluster removed, or if the stock radio has been removed or replaced. These are usually where I find most dash light problems. Now as far as you idle changing just by changing plugs, it shouldn't. Did you put the plugs back in you removed to see if the idle dropped? Are the plugs you removed the right ones? Did you buy the right ones? Were there any thing else you removed or replaced with the plugs?

I've had cars react like that when plugs and wires were replaced. Usually it was due to the wires/plugs being bad on one of the rotors. Then when new fresh stuff is put on everything is working the way it should and bam, higer idle.(espeacially if anyone adjusted the idle up to compensate for it before) You should read up on how to inspect and adjust it so you can get it back to normal

The yellow FC we have, when i first met my gf, (her car) it idled really rough. To be a nice guy i told her i would look at it and see what's up. She had just had a "tune-up" done at a local shop. The rear rotor plugs were both cracked. The porceline section inside the boot. The tech must have been a bit hamfisted and snaped them....That said I have done it before, but knew i did and just cursed myself back to advanced.

Your wipers are most likley not working for the same reason 97% of FC's don't. The switch relay is bad. look back a few pages and we had a link to a replacement. ICEMARK (forum name) offers these. This will cure the one speed and haveing to time the shut off just right.

sunroof working 75%,.. as in only closes 75% or open?

yeah they are the correct plugs and wires. the same ones that came off except not black. I'll adjust the idle and see what happens after a few hundred miles. the sunroof and the wipers work fine 75% of the time. but the other 25% they don't work at all. the crazy thing is that if I shut the car off then start it back up they will work???? I don't think the cluster has been removed but there is a half *** POS sony cd player installed. I am going to replace it and then I will make sure it is wired up right. oh yeah anyone have a power antenna that works the would get rid of

I dont know about the second gens, but the first gen power antennas are getting really hard to fine a good one in working condition. You might just be better off putting an aftermarket one in its place.

That is very kind of you Sam! I want to stick with my side draft set up though for the time being. All the trouble with the throttle caby and manifolds, there shouldn't be much left to go after. It gets fuel, spark and everything. It just spins over til the sun don't shine. Maybe going from the Wrap around to the lake city I will need to change the jetting, I have no clue. Plus I have been trying to crank it over when I get off work at 6, so you can kinda guess the temps of it. It should be warmer today, and it if does not bust off I will roll it down the street and let out the clutch.

Are you talking about the one in the parking garage? If so, then yes I am going to be there.

I got my exhaust done for a touch under 100$, from the cat part back to my muffler, 2.5". Of course, I do not run a cat

Yeah, finally got the car started. Apparently just needed some warm air haha.

Sounds to me like its just running really rich. The O2 sensor could be going bad. So, I take it you got the clutch replaced? If that thing is NA, you really don't need to be running 93. Plain o'l regular would do fine.

What is your engine mods, and year/turbo?/NA?

If you are NA you should run 87. In the old IMSA racing, they ran with 82. Here is a vid of me on the highway, I run 87, OER 45, Straight through Borla exhaust. In 25 seconds I hit the top of 4th gear. Dunno if that is good or not, but stock ported with all Bolt Ons is good enough for me... For now

Me and Kory went to a import meet with Zach tonight, got busted twice in 2 different places

All in all it was good fun, met another TurboII owner. Never got his number, and I am bad with names so... I forgot. Cool guy. He knew about the crossroads meet, SO IF YOU ARE READING THIS THEN COME ON DOWN. If I can make it down with a failing clutch system... then yeah. Lol. Great fun tonight.

Sam, too bad you had to put the kid to bed, if you didn't you should have rode with us up there

Cool deal Robbie. I would haved liked to stay around a little longer Stu, but I had to put the rug rat to bed. I saw a new guy posting in the First Gen section from the Charlotte area. I am going to give him a link to this thread if he hasn't found it yet. I have noticed an uprising of first gens here lately. Hey Stu, do you think the guy in the 3rd gen we saw last night knew what jumped his a$$. I hope we can get the local stronger and stronger. I would like to maybe caravan to Deals Gap one time, or maybe take a trip through Stations Inn sometime.
