Targa NewFoundland is on at 2 today on speed. This is one of the races I AM going to do before I die. Learned about it from watching the "Targa New Zealand" Awsome stuff. I know Josh is into this race as well. Maybe we have the beginnings of a X-roads targa team.....2011 perhaps.. I thought at one point in life that I was going to be at the 07 event oops!

I found a place that makes "tear offs" for the windshields of cars So when I go to the track more, I just yank one off when it is dirty, rubber/sand blasted from other cars etc.. Russo's window tinting. Very nice people and good prices. 110 for a FD( fronts and rear hatch windows) I have to get the soldiers re-done due to my suspiciously dark ticket... what a fucbag

Hey dave, could I swing by sometime today to get that front eshaft bolt out? Blasted 2nd gens and their incredibly hard bolts. First gens just come right off

 

I'm see I'm not the only one with a stubborn eshaft bolt.

 

All my 12a ones came off with a ratchet! This one will not budge after burning it for 30 minutes, PB blaster a week, and it STILL broke a socket.

stus scared to get his car dirty. so thats a negative. i think i can get my hands on a stripped 2nd gen ready for race build though. still has the harness and trans just nothing else.

 

I thought Stu wanted to be a rally star? No dirt...He's gonna have to be fast to outrun the dirt on the roads Or he can debut in my FB if he helps build it financially

well i fired the vert up today guys, just gotta put the exaust back together and the interior and im done. having issues with the master cylinder tho. for some reason it wont bleed. i install mannys in his vert, and it worked perfect. pulled the line off of the master, and nonthing happened. im guessing its in need of a rebuild. im glad i have a kit for that. im hoping to be driving it tomorrow. im gonna slap the exaust back on here in a little bit, just gotta muster up the want to.

 

good to see everyone getting their setups going! haha i gotta check back more often lol. i'm keeping the cat in the bag on mine for now.

Dave what happened to your engine? i thought you just needed a turbo? i'm lost is everyone doing a rebuild right now? getting wild in here I LOVE IT!!!!

well i went and put a deposit on my new project today. guess you guys will see it when i get it on the road.

 

Well, my v-band weld broke, I had that fixed properly. Then, I went to the last meet and was pulling third and the boost pegged my gauges The boost line feeding the WG split and would not open the WG. Few days later it chunked itself badly on the front side..Just need a hoousing and seal kit,...and turbo....and....

On another note, I am installing the R-tek 1.7 upgrades with Ant on his s4 T2. The 720 injectorsthat were shipped to him have a huge o-ring on both ends. Doesn't even come close to fitting in the rail or mani. Have you seen this before or do I just need to get some smaller o-rings to fit the rail. The stockers don't work as they are too small. Droin my ***!!
