Maybe one day we should have a caravan there?
A few pictures from the trip:

They have a huge park as well, where there are trails you can walk on. Very nice place. Let me know if anyone is interested, maybe start a new thread on a caravan there or something.
FYI-I used to run the Chimney Rock Hillclimb back in the 80's-before it was stopped.
The record holder and "King of the Mtn." for 11-12 straight yrs.
was John Finger-he built and ran a hillclimb special powered by a Mazda Bridgeported rotary.
John Finger now owns "John Finger Mazda" in Greenville,SC

Hey Stu, Next time you go over there holler at me. I would like to second the idea for a Mobile meet one month for a nice mountain cruiz. We can stop At my place in Saluda and have a BBQ lunch and stuff. Plenty of parking and a 2 car garge for mid-day mountain carb adjustments
LET'S DO THIS!!! I used to live over that way. I would take those roads from hgwy 64 up to Asheville on the mountain then take it home and go up the hill. Super fun roads. Be carefull during the summer months though, heavily patroled on weekends due to all the bikes raceing up and down.BTW: What did you use for porting?A dremel or a real porting tool?
Sam The SA sounds great man. Hopefully at the next meet we can talk over a paint scheme/job.
I will most likely have an extra ticket to Zoom-Fest.( Elizabeth does not plan on going due to her BAR exam schedule) Soo if anyone is intrested in the last minte let me know. July 18-20. I plan on leaving either Friday afternoon or early Sat morn. Like around 5-6 am. Let me know guys/gals.It includes entry into the infield and all activities except lapping. Which is extra.
Update on Anthony's car: I have some parts primed but am haveing some issues with my new gun. I can't get it to stop spitting. I think it may be faulty. I tested it on my hood first to get used to the new HVLP and how it sprays. It was frustrating. Hopefully I will have it worked out later this week.

Hell, we should get a couple guys to go with, like a meet/vacation there. And some FYI, about the halfway point in the trip to the point when we got there, there were tons of cop cars with speed traps. I mean tons. I counted 5 charger cop cars.
Hey sam, got your message today, sorry I didnt call you back. Went to the movies and barbecue and whatnot with the fam. Glad she is a one twist start up now
Call you tomorrow.
Call you tomorrow.
Stu you should have atleast used photo shop and cut out that guy in the front seat then you would have a nice picture. LOL HAHA, just joking sam, glad to here you got it running. Hey going to look at that car tomorrow, the guy is asking 500 bucks. My dad talked to him and he said the interior is good except the dash is cracked from being dry, and it has been painted once a while back. He said he cant remember when it was but it ran when he parked it. Maybe it will work out hope so. let you know what happens.
