That is a very clean SE.. He wants 4500 though. But it is probably worth it. I saw a red GS getting on to 85 from hwy 16 going to pull aprt this afternoon. I gave him a shaka(hang loose sign) and yelled nice 7 but he looked at me funny Nice car if you are on here.

Yeah, Kory and I both dropped cards on it separate times. Nothing good from him, probably thinks it a 4 banger.

My new muffler came in today:

http://tinyurl.com/5l5wkf

Didn't come with the silencer as stated though. Sent him an email and Ebay message about when he is going to send it.

Can't wait to get it on! It will look tons better than the cannon I have on there now. Anyone want a Mazdaspeed muffler? 140$ new

Damn, I am gonna miss the sound

Lol. We lure people easily here...

Hey Kory, how long did it take you to get there? I think I may go on a midnight run there with some tools... if you catch my drift...

EDIT: If it makes you feel better Holly, I just posted in the OGTA thread before coming back here

Double EDIT: Happy 4000 post to me

The Wankel sign is my friend Estus White's- located on the street where his shop is. He chose the name about 11 yrs ago for the rd when the shop was built.
He now works mostly preparing Spec Miata's and Cobalts. Estus once worked for Mazda Comp. when their comp. dept was located in Charlotte (the same dept. that is now called Mazdaspeed) I remember when they had the factory IMSA 4 rotor 797 GTP car.

We were racing buddies in our 1st Gen's then GSL-SE's in SCCA roadraces starting in the early 80's. We shared seat time in enduros, I also used to drive his car when mine was down for repairs. We had a lot of good times and quite a few more good memories/war stories.

I just took the short block with the water pump/tranny with starter motor. Everything else is still there as of 11 when i left. The actuators I put on the windshield grill by the wipers. You should run back by tomorrow as 2 other guys came to rape it while I was there. They got upset that i was taking the engine and trans I asked if they needed anything from them,.. They said no so I don't get why the were upset.

I forgot to get the hatch struts for myself. If I go back and the actuators are still there I will grab them for you.

I went up there around 1, no one around. I got about 4 pictures of the 7, I will upload them when I get back at the hizzouse. As of now, Sam got the new muffler up and welded on my car. Sounds nice and deeper than the mazdaspeed one I used to have. The Speed had a different tone, I don't know how to really describe it. Made the rotary sound like a rotary. This one sounds DEEP and quieter! I love both mufflers, but with this new one, I think its a keeper.

Sellin the speed muffler, if anyone wants it I will cut you a nice price on it

There was a cabrio at the yard that I wanted to rape the fenders off of, but they only had the passenger rear. Called sam and told him the bad news, and as I was walkin off, heyyyy, lets look at this jetta right quick...

BAM 4 fender flares. Cant wait to trim and mount!

Nice find on the jetta. I talked to Sam after I left and didn't check my messages. I could have saved a trip for you, but then again I probably wouldn't have seen the jetta.

I'll take the speed muffler. I need one for the FB. I fabbed a budget exhaust and want to change it already...and i haven't even left the driveway

I went off on that car. I tried to be gentle but time was scarce so i went for it. Got the engine out in a 1 1/2 between last night and today. Waited for workers for about 3 hours total
