I77 & I40 Crossroads rotary meet
Just ordered my Coilovers from ReSpeed! Also registered with ZOOM FEST and the AutoX. I am going to have to skip the PDX this year AGAIN. Well, I could go, but my brake pads are reallllll low. Need to order some more Hawks, maybe in the next hour.

I do not believe the PDX regy is open yet.. When it is I shall register and run .IF I have new rubber on the FD by then
Bout 30 minutes of wetsanding left on the FC
Then a couple more hours of buffing. Then I get to paint the wing, mirrors, and front lip.

Wrapped my headers and have ~20 feet leftover. In case anyone wants to know it took about 12' for the front pipe and 16 for the other one plus going around the final two pipes at the flange end.
Have you ran around with it yet Tim?
Where did you get the wrap? If you arn't using the other 20 feet... Don't throw it out
I wouldn't mind taking that off your hands

No I just wrapped it up, maybe tomorrow I'll get it out and run it around to heat it up.
Dave has dibs as I owe him for some tire work but if he passes or prefers beer we can talk

I think with these next set of brake pads I will go with Hawk HPS. They seem to be a little cheaper and less dust. Probably won't brake as well as the HP Plus's I have on there now though.
Since I'd like to dyno with other 7s I'll figure on showing up
around 9 or 9:30 along with Sam and his guys. Early makes sense
so we can beat the heat some.
I can arrange to meet up with anyone coming up from down
south of Huntersville at exit 25, say in the BoJangles lot.
Let me know with a PM.
This all happens here: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&cl...2&z=14&iwloc=A
Stu I can't sell you my beer, that would be illegal, but if you
provide a "service" to me, well then you can earn your beer like Dave did

well hopefully the cavalier will be gone in the next few days so i can get my truck and all my parts to build my engine. if all this happens ill be bringin the 7 down on a trailer to zoomfest and also if anyone in our crew has any major problems we can haul one home.
won't be able to make it ...again....sorry guys, gotta work tomorrow and right now my main priority is to make the green.
on a lighter note, now that i have somewhat of a steady job, money should start coming in (knock on wood) for a rebuild, and Long talked me into atleast going with a streetport (i was undecided between stock and streetport) i'm gonna be daily driving it so no bridgy for me
unless i get another one lol .....then eventually turbo since that has been my plan since EVER lol.

We should have a great turnout guys. Long and I should be there, about 9:00 am. I'm bringing my camcorder, so we can post bragging rights (or failures) for others to see.
Well guys just got back from the beach. I was hoping to get home in time to come but ended up get home later then I figured. Hope you all got some good numbers, and hope we can get a club specific dyno day some time.
BOOOO! for you guys who didn't come out. Long should be pretty happy after today. We only had 4 rotarys represent today and I hate to admit it, but Long had everybody's daddy. Got the dyno numbers, and the trophy to prove it. Highest hp rotary goes to Josh Long. Dang near clipped 300 rwhp at 12 psi. His car was spinning so bad on the dyno, it was pathetic. I'm working on video right now. I should have it up in a couple of days.
i also enjoyed it. i left around 2pm so don't know if anyone beat my RT. anyone else have 93 ford ranger as their vehicle besides me? and i forget what the guy said about why the torque curve looks like it does. the race car also had an erratic graph.
Thanks for coming up Micheal. He had a really good time. I appreciate you knocking off my quickest reaction time
You suck.............. Just kidding. You didn't do too bad on your rwhp either. Pretty good for a RX4 engine. I still killed you on HP!
