Damn, George, at least look at the screen before you hit "send."

Are you looking for a turbo engine from an A/T car, or did you just double the "t" by accident.

What exactly is it you're looking for? The whole motor, or just the turbo? And what year? Because some were intercooled, but most were not. And, a very few came with a VATN turbo (check here and here -- go to turbo database --> item 12, VNT). And the turbo FWD's came with either a 2.2 or a 2.5.

C'mon, man, be more specific...

BTW, those of you who don't care about turbo Chryslers should check out the second link in that post anyway. That guy certainly knows his stuff about turbos.

it's not for me, it's for my 'friend'

My 'friend' wants one, my friend has a nice accord that 'they' could get rid of, and make some payments on a 'reasonable' S2000, it's still a Honda lol

yeah, I'm sure she'll learn how to drive it easily, and it wouldnt be that tough to drive. Plus I'm a good teacher, she'll learn easily. If she can drive my ReX, she can drive any honda. If I can teach her how to drive the '67 Chevy pickup, she can drive ANY stickshift lol

I learned how to drive 5spd in my ReX, I didnt stall it until I was pulling it back into my driveway an hour later (my driveway is pretty steap) I was proud of myself. I have friends that STILL can't drive sticks. One friend sold his BroncoII b/c he couldnt drive the 5spd. He's the one that told me about my ReX, he didnt want the awesome deal b/c it was a stick. So I got it, and learned easily. I already knew, being the redneck that I am, just hadnt actually done it before.

i learned pretty quick in that samurai. mostly because it was not forgiving AT ALL. it would choke of you breathed hard while shifting. but after i got the hand of it i coudl drive almsot anything wiht a manual. but i did get thrwon off in an old chevy truck that had a 3 speed on the column. that jsut threw me off

my dad's truck used to have a 3 on the tree, but we build a 350 for it, and put a 4 on the floor. It took me a couple times to get used to it, with the daggone spring-loaded clutch pedal, and no tach to look at it makes it tougher than the rex. it's fun chirpin 4th in that torque monster. I can drive anything if I can drive that truck, it's not forgiving either lol.

I think Veronica will take to the 5spd easily, I'mma just explain it to her thoroughly beforehand, she always pays good attention.

I need to find out how much a 99 or 00 s2000 would be (whenever they came out) b/c her accord is in awesome shape, and she hates it lol. She would love it if I found a decent s2000 for her. Cars are certainly growing on her since me and her have been together. She can point out the difference between nice and rice, and has learned to hate Civics as much as me. She even corrected her friend when her friend said that her boyfriends 5spd Civic was fast. I thought it was hilarious. She even knows the difference in a piston engine and a rotary that's my girl.

she handles a shifter reall well does she? hahaha couldn;t hold that one in man.

but yeah, it shouldn;t be too hard to teach her. as long as she truly wants to.

why does she want to get rid of her present car? and why the s2k so much?

I was resisting on the shifter joke, for her sake lol, but you're right, she does

She just wants something different, the accord is plain, and she hates the green. She also has bad luck in that car. She's been rear-ended, hit a deer (it jumped into the side of her), and hit a pot-hole that blew out both of her right side tires. I was riding with her, she had to swerve so some huge work van didnt side-swipe her, and hit that pot hole. All accidents that couldnt really have been prevented, she just doesnt like the car anymore. It's vtec, i've outrun a 6-cyl mustang shifting the auto, it's peppy...for a honda.
