BTW, posts shouldn't count if they're just blatant attempts at whoring.

I think I know the DSM...still dont know the Vette, I'm sure I'd recognize it if he drives it much. I cant believe that s2000 broke loose on Randall, my car does 100 through there easily, still sticks fine. I can take that s curve at the end of MLK prkwy at 120 and still keep control (I still cant believe I beat that AWD Talon)

Ren, shutup about blatant attempts at whoring. What is this AIM you speak of? I've never heard of such a thing.

As soon as you go over Kerr it opens up a bit so you can see ahead of yourself, then there is a gradual S curve, just after the curves is a short straight and the next stop light. I've had my FD a whole lot faster than 100mph in curves much much sharper than those. Brian from rotorsports got to go on an interesting ride with me the day before we took it to the dyno.....haha......130mph sideways.
Dan, Yeah I remember that ride- I believe you're shorts were a bit worse off than mine as I was busy monitoring the computer. I figured you were just showing off until you looked at me with that "oh ****" look. I guess I should have warned you about the dip at the bottom of that curve since you were on soft sidewall drag radials. BTW I took a "leisurely" test drive the other day through that same series of turns, 4th gear- pulling 19psi boost- about 130+ with a really well setup suspension in a T-II. No drama whatsoever- not the 4 fishtail recovery that we experienced. BTW what happened to my post on the 962R? Am I being booted?
PS Merry Christmas- Tiff's leaving on Sat.

Brian,

It's been moved to the "Other Rotary" forum. I thought you knew about that.

Actually, I think it's been in there the whole time. At least since the 18th, anyway.

Haha, yeah I think I would have been fine with some tires designed for taking curves and my koni shocks I have on there now. Have you been over on nopistons.com, I know some of the guys over there would be interested to see some of your ideas and race cars. Are you still at the same location or are you moving shop? Hope you have a good X-Mas and a good new year!!

Man oh man this thread has gotten huge!!!! How many posts is the Thong Thursday thread?

Hey Chris, did you see of you can get off work that Friday night? Dan, if you didn't see it before I am going to be in Wilmington on January 17-19, I'll be in Friday afternoon early. I will be in for fire school at the Pender County High School, but we stay in Wilmington. Let me know if you guys want to meet up Friday night.

Tony

Hey George sorry about your friend getting hurt in the wreck, but it happens if you race on the road.

We have LONG way to go before we reach TT's level of input. 1216 posts when the mods decided they'd had enough. But we're up there, for sure. Definitely the most posts in the SE forum, probably the most in any regional forum period.
