hah! im out for cruises until I have something thats running properly. Still have to get the T2 running, then get it running right. And the NA's got a crapped out coolant seal, and the Conquest still needs a pump/turbo before its on the road.....damn this cold weather.

4 months since the last post in here. Nice. Whats up everyone? About 6 months back my 7 got hammered by a tree limb from the sky, messed up the front window, and I parked it since it was barley running at the time anyway. It was 6 months later (yesterday) before I went and charged up the battery and messed with it. I charged the battery and it started pretty easily. I was afraid it was going to be done for but Im glad that it surprised me. Im hoping to get my garage cleaned out so I can bring it back to my house and work on it but you know how that goes.

Who all is still watching the forum? Now that the weather is nice we should get a meet going or something. Let me know what you guys think.

Sweet. Im game Sunday some time after noon preferably. I work over night on Friday and Saturday so those nights are out for me unless its a mid day thing. My 7 isnt roadworthy so Id be in the truck or my wifes Prelude. Where in Knoxville are you guys located. Im in Alcoa.

 

I'll come if theres a meet. I haven't been to any meets since I finished building my 7, like almost 2 years ago.

 

Sunday turns out to be the 4th of July so thats out for me. I should have known that lol. Any one up for meeting at a sonic around 8ish on Monday or Tuesday?

 

i've been needing to get my 7 to OS, would i get a ticket if i just towed it with a strap?? i've called around and seems the going rate is bout 150 if i use tow service. so i figured i get it done myself and save some dollars

 

Andersons will rent you a two wheel car hauler for like 50 bucks, When you say OS where are you talking about? Towing with a tow strap isnt illegal in Tennessee I dont think but dont quote me on it. I once towed my wifes car like that when she broke a timing belt in her prelude. it was scary and we only went half a mile to our house.

 

OS(oliver springs) i've heard to use a strap for short distances only anyway which is not what i'll need to do, prolly get the dolly save mulah that wayinstead of tow service

 

yeah. The strap is a PITA. I wouldnt do it over 20 mph for more than a mile or two.

We cant seem to get any one interested all at the same time. No one checks the board enough including me lol. I need to find a rotary friend so maybe Ill get up enough nerve to tear into mine and what not to get it roadworthy.

How about a meet for next saturday about 6 in the evening . We can meet @ the old circuit city across from rookies in the cedar bluff area . Just a thought ...We use to have are old meets there with plenty of parking spaces .

 

So that would be the this Saturday the 31st.. I'm there who else is coming ???????
