yeah all of them are good im gonna go home after work and change out the breaker and see if that helps.

i just hate driving around without a temp guage which i can not figure out how to hook up

edit: i guess il just get it warmed up and take all the wires i have no idea where they go and just randomly touch them to the sensor till the guage responds

Ok, so heres a question for jeremy and Louie.

Is the truck coming again? If so can I have you guys stop by to pick up my race tread and the floor jack so I can have a choice for tires the day of? I really dont want to put the race tires on saturday night and have it rain on the way to the event.

Yes, the truck will run again!

We'll have to figure out a time to do this. It'll have to be pretty early considering that check in is around 9.

Let me know....

I'll probably just meet you guys over there since I don't like mornings or trying to adhere to schedules in the morning.

but unless i get my timing set dead on and get my temp guage working im not running.and seeing as how i cant even seem to find my temp guage sendor and i dont own a timing light its not looking good

on a side note i fixed my guages it was the meter fuse icemark was right but i swear the dang thing was perfect.and i got my tps adjusted with the led method no more surging yayayay. and i finally found the right idleadjustment screw and set it at about 1500 rpm so it dosnet want to die when i let of the gas anymore

oh and i just map quested the event and its closer for me to go through lenoir city so im prolly just meet ya all there

Understood... you don't wanna run a fresh motor anyway, that could be disaster. Maybe we can get those gauges working eh? The temp gauge sender should just be a metal spade coming from either the thermostat housing or somewhere on the front of the motor where the coolant passages are. Coulda been broken off, I suppose. If your harness is anything like it was from the factory and you can find the little green connector, then logic would dictate that the sensor is near where the connector comes out.

Then again... Mazda > Logic.

That's all pretty tragic. I guess we'll all have a look tomorrow. I have a feeling all of us are gonna do a lot of digging through your engine bay!

Getting up early sucks... I might neglect to go to bed so I don't have to. At least I got the car mostly ready tonight, so I won't be out there in the tech lot trying to bolt down my battery. ****... I hope my loose seatbelt passes tech!

Working seatbelts is kind of necessary to pass tech. Mine just doesn't retract, so hopefully it won't be an issue.
