that would be nice, but i don't think there are enough people on this forum that own 7's anymore. crazy how time has a way of changing things, but in this case, its a sad fact. in about a month or so i'll be looking to buy an FB for a project. and i'm considering an FC n/a for a daily driver. i have never owned an FC before and i think the time is now upon me.
The lines should are fine, I have had the inlet bung repaired twice and after it was repaired the top started to crack as well. I ordered some aluminum fittings and I will have them welded to the cooler, if this doesn't work I will have to break down and find one. I am looking at the one from rotary-works.com as a replacement. If anyone has any other suggestions I will gladly take them.
Thanks,
Bernard
Thanks,
Bernard
ah, if thats the case just replace the oil cooler, would be cheaper in the long run imo.
heh, I'd like to snag another S4 my self, but need to get the SQ straightened out and maybe a good DD after that.

speaking of s4, i found a white one on chapman hwy, about a mile from the post office. the body looked alright from the road but it don't look it runs, its been sitting in the same spot for about 2 months now. it might be something for you to look into derrick. you never know.
What up guys ? What does everyone think about having a meet next sunday @
4 pm . We can have it at the old circuit city in the cedar bluff area .
Welcome Bernard , I have and extra s4 oil cooler if you want to buy it 40 bucks its yours . The fb oil coolers tend to get hairline cracks all the time , I found this out after autocrossing a couple of times .
As far as a swap meet I have a **** load of parts i need to get rid like a set of vert bbs rims 150.00 and a set of turbo II rims with hoosier slicks for autox use $150.00 . to much to list .
So can we call the next official meet for next sunday ???? Im looking foward to cruise my turbo fb

lol STILL trying to get rid of my old set of somewhat minty BBS's?
And nah, ill skip out on any nonrunning cars right now. I can afford to not buy anything til I find what I want, which is to say I good condition black/silver/white S4 T2 (original paint or a good repaint that extended into the passenger compartment).
As for meets, not gonna attend any until the quest is running, broke in (fresh 0 mile motor/0mile turbo), and then rough tuned (safc+wideband) for 7 and 12 psi >.>

time to breathe some life into this forum. i'm planing a meet for october 25th at 5pm! in the parking lot at mercy hospital off woodland ave. 25 days in advance should give everyone on here enough to time to prepare. Rx-7 or no Rx-7, just show with what you got.

We're letting this thread die... there's another one called Knoxville Mazda Meets... we're having a meet next weekend so check that out.
whats up guys, been while since iv been on, hard times lol. but im tryin to get back on it, got a new daily, 95 honda accord. i was gonna sell my dodge avenger but a guy that lives right down the road has a white 89 5 speed vert. needs some love but hes willin to trade. listened too in and took it for a quick drive, no smoke or sputters or anything, just wont hold an idle. as soon as you take off the gas, it dies. but i dont care, free to trade a car i dont use, and ill have a project car for the winter. but ill post pics as soon as i can.
Greetings East TN! Hope everyone is enjoying the quasi-cold weather.
Just thought I'd shout out since I have been living here for 11 months and still haven't had time to meet up with anyone in the area. Toddlers will do that, I hear.
Anyway, hey to all, and if anyone is interested, my S5 T2 is for sale on the forums.

eh, prolly be easier to just browse the classifieds for a set of good calipers and wait to see of PAP gets any good 5 lug stock. Wheels on mine are gonna go as well as those rotors/pads, not even gonna try to drive it with that junk.
so i'm in the middle of an s4 13b swap in a 83 gsl, does anyone on here know if the i can use the 13b gearbox w/ a 12a bell housing? and will the 13b gearbox hook up to the 12a driveshaft? thanks.
the NA transmission from the FC does not have a removable bellhousing. The Turbo tranny does have a removable bellhousing, im unsure if the 12a trans has a removable bellhousing either, though chances are it does not. As for the driveshaft...I doubt it would hook up, though you can check to see if the tailshaft of the driveshaft fits innto the trans, if it doesnt then you gotta get creative with a custom shaft.

This might help a little:
http://www.mazdatrix.com/g1.htm
Doesn't say a whole lot about the interchangeability of S2 and S4/S5 stuff though.

speaking of which, ye ole beasty has gotten some attention...
Pulled off the fugly wheels with severely corded tires and left her on jackstands for the last month or two.
Last week these show up:
17x8 +25 and 17x9 +20

Test fitting...rear might need some fender roll/pull

Front may be just fine...

Couple nights ago these show up...

Set of Nitto NT555's in 235/45 R17 and 255/40 R17
oh and last night these showed up lawl...
