Yea lets get a meet going for saturday again .. How's this saturday @ 7:30 pm then a possible cruise .

 

Sadly Im training a guy at work on Fri and Sat till 11pm . Any chance of moving it to sunday? If it conflicts with anyone dont worry about changing it cause I dont know my plans for the weekend any way. thats just much more likely for me this week. I probably wont bring my 7 since the windshield still has a huge hole in it. If money grew on trees rather than limbs I wouldnt have this problem.

No one said anything so I didnt even think about heading over there. I got a new battery finally! Now its constantly making the low coolant or oil buzz all the time. Both seem to be full so I dont know whats up.

Hey Hey yall, how is everyone. I have not been on here in a long time. Been working like crazy. Still drivin the seven like the general lee. I got a diesel ford van and really haven't had much time for the seven. I did start working on the body again last weekend and painted the roof black. The bottom half is still the blue color. I put the 13" momo's on and it looks sweet. Ill try to get some picks up soon I got some on the phone.

Let me know about the next meet and I'll try to make it. Sundays are good for me

Swap meet in the coming weeks. I've got several things that I'm willing to trade or give away to a good home. I know some others are interested, as well.

lol yeah, traded the na (after i replaced the motor with a good one) and the nonrunning t2 for a shitty 240 >.< shoulda kept em both. But working my way to getting the conquest running again...then i might go seek out another 7

as for swap meet....everything rx7 related I had went with both my fc's. Which suffice to say, filled up the bed of a full size truck >.> Still got all my knowledge/insight though

 

yeah man, i know the feeling. the same thing happen to me last year. when i sold my black FB i must have given away at least 2 grand worth of spare parts. including a racing beat intake manifold and a holly 600 double pumper. I landed a decent job this week so i'm definitely getting back into it, just need about a month or so to save some doe.

Hello fellow Knoxville people is there going to be a meet anytime soon? I would like to see what other 7 owners have done to their cars so that I can get some ideas.

welcome bernard, were glad to have you with us. most of the people on this forum have owned multiple Rx-7's throughout their lifetime such as me, lizradFC, FirstrotaryExp, and mazdafiend. are you first time owner? were always open to questions if you need answers.

 

this is my first RX7, I am very happy with it whenever I get to drive it. Right now the oil cooler is leaking and I am searching the forum for a decent replacement for it, I have had it repaired twice in the past week.

 

lol yeah it happens man. these cars are starting to get up in age, but fixing them is really what makes me enjoy owning them so much. the feeling you get when driving one after you repair it is amazing. you feel very accomplished. what year is your 7?

 

where is the cooler leaking exactly? if its one of the lines then I suggest replacing with stainless lines and AN fittings (original lines will eventually be rubbed raw against the frame as they pass around the radiator). If its the actual oil cooler itself, just check pull-a-part's website for 2nd gen rx7's and snag a cheapy from there. I have a spare sitting in the garage myself, but its going into my conquest eventually.
