THeres nothing mentioned about it on any of the dragon websites thus far, and killboy hasnt said anything either. But I highly doubt TDOT will be taking any more machinery up there as they JUST finished making new pull offs and repairing what they could as it was. Plus in order to do speed bumps they would have to close the full road in order to install them, which will make driving that thing even MORE dangerous to all drivers at any speed.
I know this should go in the marketplace but I just wanted to ask here too... Does anyone have an S5 motor for sale? I havent been able to find one that is close enough to me... if anyone has one laying around please let me know... I would have no problem picking it up of course

Sorry on the motor deal, I usually deal in S4's...and currently only have a popped S4 sitting around and will have a bad 2.6L G54B out of my Conquest...

those rumors have been going around since 2004, if they did do that, the entire area would pretty much die. no one would want to drive the road anymore, and darrell (owner of killboy) would probably lose his income. plus the entire fontana area lives off tourism, the dragon being the main purpose for all the riders and fancy sports car owners vacationing up there in the resorts. no more dragon = ghost town.
Woot, I should *in theory* be able to fire up the conquest tonight. The last part I needed showed up and is bolted in, just have to drop in the radiator, add the hoses, plunk down the battery, fill the fluids, put in th enew plugs and wires and hope she cranks.
Sounds good Derrick . I got the t2 running and tuned with the 1600s feels ten times stronger just at 14 psi . The microtech was pretty simple to install thanks to Dan who help me with the injectors ,cas and air temp sensor ..The rest was pretty easy to tackel solo . Maybe we can all meet up again at the next Sfc meet ..
heh, tis possible, though unless the next meet is on a sunday im boned. ive not had a saturday off since I started working, and I only got this lasst one off as I was taking it and the next 3 days after it to work on the quest
so...who on this forum wants a 1st gen? i'm offically announcing that i'm GIVING this thing away, on one term and condition. if anyone on here can help me land a decent job somwhere (decent meaning making at least $10 per hour), the FB is yours. the car runs perfectly, and is mechanically flawless. the steering, a c6 corrvette side swiped my wheel (but no body damage) and knocked out the steering, it needs a control arm. other than that, the car flawless. i have 2.5'' exhaust, magnaflpw muffler, efan, and a holley 600 with a racing beatr intake manifold that i'm saling separetly. message me for further details.

As far as I know the parts from an FC wont interchange with any year miata. The way the hubs are designed, not to mention they take a specificly splined rear axle (na and t2 axles splined the same, but t2 halfshafts are beefier), and the rear calipers are probably more efficient on the miata than they are on teh fc's. Not sure why you are trying to make the rx7 components to the miata, as I hear the miata's brakes are pretty good as it is.

Well I finailly got my turboed 1st gen running and its getting close to spring. I think we all need to take a cruise up the dragon or just meet up to see how everyones been...well I have around 1900 mile left to break my motor in so if anyone wants to cruise hit me up... If not I'm rolling solo!!!
