Meh I got the privilege of running the store while the manager is out with his new born so I had to cover the store for a scheduling error he made before he left. Needles to say I didnt make it to PAP. I wont have another day off till next week or the week after that.

Finally got a tag for the 7. Ive been pretty much broke since I got the car but my fiancée surprised me last night with a licence plate and the paper work for the title. Pretty exciting. Now I can start working on the car and figuring out that 3800 issue.

The issue is more than likely a bad ground somewhere. Go over all the grounds, cleaning terminals and if you feel the need, run new grounding cables the the required spots.
You sure he didnt remove much needed grounds? There should be a ground from the transmission housing to the firewall, a ground from the battery to the starter, battery to the chassis, then possible added ground from the alternator case to the engine, from the engine to the shock tower, and so on and so forth.
Gutting the cat wont affect the ports, unless the split-air tube was took off in the process. Have you checked to see that the port actuators even actuate or move freely?
I was told that gutting the cat would cause it to not have enough backpressure to open the ports. Ive moved one of them but havent been able to get back and try wire them open to see if they were the problem.(I have the car at another location than my house).

Who told you gutting the cat would cause that? If by some miracle yo uhave a massive gaping hole in your cat..you have a serious exhaust leak. Numerous other members here have gutted their cats since they tend to clog and choke the car out.
lol. the more i read about this the more I am confused. Some people say its the injectors, some people say its the ports, Some people say its a bad ground. Ive checked the grounds using the aaroncake.net guide. I have not added a extra ground at the boost sensor on the passenger side wheel well. I put a multimeter on the secondary injectors and one read the correct resistance but the other read less than what the service manual said it should. So who knows. I might have some time to tinker with it today so Ill let you know if anything new comes up.

Ive gotta put a 'new' radiator in my FC monday or tuesday since mines got a crack in it the top. Then later this week my engine for the Conquest should arrive and ill spend next weekend and the better part of the start of the week putting it in.

Lower control arms (minus new bushings) in red wrinkle finish

Dust shields in generic black gloss

Spindle/knuckles done in red wrinkle finish

Spindles and dust shields put back together

Brackets on the left are for the LCA's, Brackets on the right are for my manual steering rack (the big bracket is common to all the racks, but the smaller one is different between manual and power steering)
