eesh... sadly I dont know anyone thats in the market right now. Ive been kicking around the idea of getting the 'quest close to ready for a paint/body shop+coilovers (1500 for some coilovers for a StarQuest, and about 400 for a new single piece front airdam). Or buy all the bushings, new springs shocks/struts (or go coilover), pillowball mounts, better condition front subframe, S4 NA lsd, and just putting the bitch on jackstands for the summer. But I cant do any of that until I too get another job.

hey did you get that fixed yet?

 

yeah finally, its turns out...unadvanced auto ******* sold me the wrong rotor. the hub was about 1/8'' too thick and caused it to jam up. i aired the tire up to about 60 psi and gave it a few licks with a sledge hammer, that knocked it lose. then i used a pipe to pry it off the rest of the way. i replaced the calpier and then changed the pads out all the way around. took the rotor back and got my money back, i didnt wana risk geting the wrong rotor again so i just had the old one shaved. shes back on the road and running great! btw, anyone volunteers to help me remove the rats nest?

I would like to go but i have some one coming to see my car this weekend and hopefuly they buy it.then i would have no problem going untill then will see.

Well since looking at my taxes, and reading the entire forms...im getting a large hunk of funds back. So im definitely going on the 18th, and early as **** I might add. So if you dont mind riding in my madhouse I dont mind some ballast in my passanger seat. Though a friday night grind session some spots in the back would be nice...

 

Isnt the 18 on a saturday if it is i have to see what time that guy is coming over to look at my car.

 

yeah, the 18th is saturday. Of the three days its supposed to be the nicest before rain on sunday.

i'll get some shots up tomorrow, its in pretty good condition. it even has the original pin stripe. its the 3 piece wing. i thought only GSL-se's came with them but i pulled this one off a GS...i supose it was an add on. i'll consider a trade for a 12a header if anyone happens to have a spare laying around. (i also have a glass roof for an FB, will also trade for certain performance parts)

 

dude ill take that glass sun roof from you how much do you want.dont sell it to anyone ive been looking for one for a while.we could work out a trade or something.didnt you need you rats nest removed i could do this for you for a trade and some cash just hit me up.were in knox are you?

 

hmm... i'm definetly intrested. if you remove my rats nest ( and show me how to do it along the way) and install the acv block off plate (youll have to supply the block off plate, i believe its only $10 through mazdatrix or racing beat), i'll let you have the roof for $25. the glass roofs go for $200 on ebay, so i would consider that a good deal. however, i would label my roof in fair shape, it has a few scratches, but their not too bad. and some of the bolts are a bit rusty, but thats an easy fix with some sand paper. i'll post some pics tomorrow. i live in north knoxville, right behind st. mary's hospital. call if you want directions and to talk more out.

so did anyone else see the 911 with a t2 swap this weekend?? 'twas nice. friday was good cept for a down tree and biker. anybody get pics of sat?

 

I was out there saturday, probably missed the porche, but got pictures of a few other things I deemed acceptable, including the black eunos cosmo and the white gsl-se with a very hidden turbo.

 

Were are the pic.I missed it this year and last but im not missing zoomfest

 

dude that'll work. But it will have to be this weekend or some thing and to get the part from racing beat or mazdatrix itll take at least a week or so to get the part.I think they have like a $50 min.I will call and find out i need to order some parts anyways thanks.

On another note...put the head unit that was in the FC into the Conquest. I have power to everything and it plays stuff so apparently the stocker and teh power antenna are fried. But all 6 speakers work, albeit crappily.

 

cause the Marine Recruiter in JC was an *** and the recruiter up here was a TON more positive about me enlisting so. yeah.
