thanks man. i painted it in my garage last night matter of fact .still need to apply the clear coat but my compressor took a **** so im SOL.by the way sleepy eyes rock!!!!
You think when you get it repaired you might be able to paint some things for me? Wing, Front bumper, side skirts and stuff?
The best solution is to buy a BRAND NEW windshield. Used ones tend to break randomly during removal, moving, and installation. The new glass in my FC set me back like 250ish with them bringing it to me, removing the old glass, installing the new glass, and carting the old one off.
yeah not to mention if you dont have it sealed properly youll get tons of wind noise and so on
eh i dont touch GD Subarus.
i make more horsepower than a stock STi and my car weighs almost 1000 pounds less.
GD STi = 3300 pounds
my Impreza = 2400 pounds

so the guy was asking $1800 for it, i talked him down to $1000 cash on the spot. it runs like a dream, and has a few aftermarket parts such as the header, e fan conversion, battery has been relocated to the trunk, and all the emissions have been removed. only problems it has are some interior issues (door panels and carpet missing), it will need paint soon too. it also a few rust spots, but nothing too major. it can all be fixed with a simple fiberglass kit. tell me what you guys think.

see just like that, and all i did was adjust your 'links'
but doesnt look too bad...though the true dual header is a bit much, and are the o2/wideband bungs welded closed o.O

eh....if the bungs have been welded closed then the header is junk now. at the very least they would have been good to put in a couple pyrometers or wideband sensors to monitor things.
Id say it is for a 12a, the twin bungs welded up just seems odd to me, as a simple bolt would have sufficed without making those bungs useless for tuning purposes.
its definetly not racing beat. racing beat headers are not supposed to rust. who knows, probably a dual outlet header ordered from summit racing or some other cheapo ****, but hey, i cant complain. it wasnt a bad buy for $1000. it sounds pretty nice too.
Even stainless steel rusts with enough heat applied to it over time. But it does appear to be a RB true dual header, and possibly mated to the true dual presilencers or just two straight pipes, i cant tell, but it is a RB design.
